Skye

Nice images

The first one is the Three Sisters & Hidden Valley in Glen Coe.

Hi Just been looking at your superb pics - although I live in West Country this is very familiar territory for me as my daughter lives on Isle of Raasay (ferry goes from Sconser). You can just about see her house in your image 10!
Am hoping to be there in the next couple of weeks. Bit of a hike from here especially as last ferry is 18.45 so to do it in one day (approx 630 miles door to door) means leaving around 4 a.m. Once past Callender I think it's probably one of the greatest drives you could find.
I'll keep an eye out for you in future.

Absolutely superb stuff as usual

I've had 3 trips to Skye this year - 2 in the Z4 and 1 in the van - and STILL want to go back again.

Did you get the ferry over? (sorry, sore point for me - just ask the others who were on the z4-forum Skye trip....)

Great pictures as always.

Been up to Skye twice this year and would happily go back for more.

Great minds think alike. Slightly different angle but the same place.

Well spotted Richard

Yes Ally, we to the ferry over (see water pic), and came back on the bridge.

Glad you like the pics folks :)

It's my 3rd visit this year too. Fantastic place.

The in-car shots were taken with our trusty Panasonic Lumix TZ3, the other with a Canon 450D.
No photoshop stuff going on because I don't have it and can't use it

Looks fabulous. We're taking the Z up to Skye for a week from next Saturday - can't wait.

What's up with using the bridge, or is that a sensitive subject?!

Nah it was the ferry that was a problem for us on the z4-forum trip. 9 z4s, not enough space on the ferry! Meant a return trip back along the road to Fort William them north and over the Bridge. Don't think anyone was tooooo upset with me... Well, I think they all still speak to me!!!

damn, your pics always make me want to go take the car for a drive

We're a friendly bunch up here (ahem), don't just think about it. Do it, get in on next years trip to Islay you know it makes sense. :D

After all it's an easy if somewhat boring run up the motorway from Surrey it'll only take you about 7 hours to get to the start point  .

Great images as always!

The far Cuillins are pullin' me away,
As take I wi' my crummack to the road.
The far Cuillins are puttin' love on me,
As step I wi' the sunlight for my load.
