Just want to echo my thanks to Craig for setting this up again (and the National in a few week's time).

I know the effort that goes into these, and is why I tend to go on spur-of-the-moment solo/dual drives mostly now.

Didn't have a passenger, so have no photos to share...but if anyone wants to provide their (not too young), single daughter/sister for the next trip, I'll happily let her ride shotgun.

Nice one for you Moz!
I waited till you were out the way so the view wasn't spoilt!

That's some amount of windscreens, and had luck.
They must be getting fitted too tight or not fitting correctly, maybe causing them to be under to much pressure/strain,and then cracking very easily??

I find a replacement screens never great, and not as good as original.
Had mine renewed in 2012,due to vandalism, and it only last a year or so ,when it cracked from the bottom up too.
Then the replacement got badly chipped by stones off a lorries cargo.
Don't like the current screen at all. Seal is not the same, wind noise wise, and it's pilkinton glass.

Hope you get it sorted better this time

I’m ‘only’ on my 3rd screen, 1st was due to millions of pin prick stone chips, 2nd was due to big stone chip that cracked when they tried to inject resin into it.

Glad you enjoyed it, Maurice.
Pity about the weather on Sunday, and traffic was busier than we would have liked....but Saturday was worth it for me.
Sunshine all day, even got a bit of sunburn, lol and plenty of great driving roads with not too much traffic, bar the usual one or two bits was some excellent hooning to enjoy :driving:

Some nice photos

Did I see some of you heading south on the M74 on Sunday evening ? A black/dark blue coupe, followed about 1/2 a mile later by two silver roadies ? I was heading north in my Midnight coupe.

I was in my Ruby Black coupe heading south (probably on the M74 sometime between 5:30pm & 6:00pm I'd guess).

Moz & Andy wouldn't have been far behind, and they were in a couple of silver roadsters.

With such a small gap, you'd have thought we'd have spotted each other - especially as I was keeping a steady, relatively slow speed trying to see whether cruise was more efficient than my right foot. Didn't have the patience to find out the result, but did find out that cruise at 75mph returns almost exactly the same MPG as at 80mph.

Great pics guys. Still a little snow up in the Black Culins then. Missing that wonderful place. : 8) :driving:

Yep that would be me and Moz
