was going through your pictures from earlier today and it brought back what a legendary trip that was ...one of the best things I've done full stop.

I would have loved a Porsche trip like that, looks amazing

Rob I managed to edit all the images in the end but haven't posted them yet and it is on my list of things to do.

That was a brilliant trip, even though Paul and I only managed half of it. Rather hoping there's some good ones of my motor in there Tom - I'd really appreciate a link when you post them

There certainly is. Unfortunately I haven't got any wifi at the new place yet too much to upload on my measly phone data.

No worries Tom - it's been a year, I can wait a bit longer

Finally printed them and framed. Some are in the office, others for the garage.

you've now hit the same problem you had with the z4m... accent a hole lot quicker.

The pursuit of happiness eh! Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely chuffed with her, literally nothing I don't like

Gallardo's the dream car though so has always been on the cards eventually - but went browsing and had a longish drive in the cayman while mine's in the shop though and what a bloody machine! As a package it just felt like utter perfection. I'm convinced with the seats and a few tweaks the gemballa would be just as capable/arousing (in my hands) though hence the deliberation.. I'm just a moth when it comes to shiny things and just in a massive downer because it's in the shop for 3 weeks now after a speed hump ripped the sump open at 5kms' an hour :(

deep sumps + lowered cars = scrapey scrapey  It's going to be purely a sunday car when she's back, no more supermarket runs..

That is a fabulous photo Tom, just fabulous, it makes me want to ditch work, get a full tank of gas, put my sunglasses on and drive there right this minute :D

Sars ... you need this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/One-Careful-Owner-daydreamer-enthusiast-ebook/dp/B008FR7JO0.

It was suggested to me by PawnSacrifice now of GTPorsche but formally on here - it was a bit of an inspiration for some of the places we visited but also about embracing your inner petrol head . The guy basically left his job sold the Flat bought the car and took off.

I would strongly suggest that you don't go by the Ultimate Drives website of great European driving roads - it normally ends in a ferry ticket .

We recently hired a 2 series Vert in Nice and did Monaco and the Route of Napoleon - not bad for the non Eurotrip year .

This is a road I would've liked to drive in the Boxster. It's in Geiranger in Norway. You couldn't have done it spirited as the turns are very sharp and close together, but to drive up there and then the view. :sweetheart: image.png

Not mine unfortunately but hopefully one day!

2007 997.1 Carrera S Just love the thing its about as close the perfect to me as it goes, especially in Guards red and the Turbo wheels. Its just so raw fantastic driving experience you feel everything amazing drivers car. If you like the Z4M these things will blow you away.

Regardless of the scaremongering - look after them and ensure you know the issues spend the £1000 and have lots of fun motoring.

My Grandfather was from Susten and was only thinking a couple of weeks ago it would be good to take my daughter and drive there to meet that side of my family. This thread has some stunning pictures and has confirmed I must go

Now then.. when are these 991 GT3s going to become affordable.... :poke:

Toms photography isn't helping much is it Marlon?
