Cheers he takes a decent snap ... to be honest its no surprise that apparently the biggest market for targa's in Europe are the Alpine countries - it just works so well.

Some gorgeous Porsche on here ... your old one being one of mr Favourites Mr Wilks

Not mine unfortunately but hopefully one day!

2007 997.1 Carrera S Just love the thing its about as close the perfect to me as it goes, especially in Guards red and the Turbo wheels. Its just so raw fantastic driving experience you feel everything amazing drivers car. If you like the Z4M these things will blow you away.

Regardless of the scaremongering - look after them and ensure you know the issues spend the £1000 and have lots of fun motoring.

Some absolutely gorgeous cars. Great thread.

Love love love 964s and 993s wish they weren't so insanely expensive and missed it big I think. The 993s were around 12-20k when I got my Z4M but was talked out of it because of costs, nearly bought a 996 C4S too but also didn't because of worries.

Thanks for the comments on the pics. So thankful for Jack and Rob for organising, was one of the best things I have ever done with such fantastic people and amazing cars. After 5 months across South America and North America the Eurotrip was the highlight of the year.

One of the best experiences of my life and Tim would completely agree. Really put these cars where they should be.

was going through your pictures from earlier today and it brought back what a legendary trip that was ...one of the best things I've done full stop.

What a great pic , the 3 different colours couldn't have been chosen any better , love it :) although the whole thread is rekindling Porsche twitches & urges I haven't had for many years

Thanks Andy! Fantastic colours! Well there are inherent problems as we all know but a good mid milage 997.1 are bargains atm and as long as all the checks are done and possibly spending the money on piece of mind the car will be set for many miles and smiles. They are certainly only heading in one direction and thats up. Tim is still looking to change it unfortunately and even trading it into a garage has seen a significant increase for a trade in offer year on year its crazy.

It was a hell of a day this was the road up

I was lucky enough to get the drive too which Tim certainly wasn't impressed with :D

Rob I managed to edit all the images in the end but haven't posted them yet and it is on my list of things to do.

Remember that fruit cake in the C2S ( Basalt Black One) .. tearing down the way out behind his mate in the M3 .. Tom ... :o

That was a brilliant trip, even though Paul and I only managed half of it. Rather hoping there's some good ones of my motor in there Tom - I'd really appreciate a link when you post them
