yeah thats well funny. pick as many holes as you want as i have posted an infinite amount of pictures of my 35is and the white one in my sig is my previous 20i z4 but then again only a moron jumps to conclusions by seeing someones sig. my avatar would suggest i also know a bit of martial arts again only a moron would think that by looking at the avatar

secondly, yes most invictas are well below £300 unfortunately for you the ones i have arent and you would have an extremely hard time buying any of mine below that price but then again if you had a brain and did a bit of research before running your mouth, you would know that too. but if you again dispute this, then why dont you go ahead and post up a link where any or all of mine can be brought for less than £300 brand new otherwise you have just made yourself look more foolish than you sounded in the first place and almost certainly proved that you have no idea of what you are talking about on any topic whatsoever and cant really be taken seriously at all

thirdly and most importantly my 35is is significantly more expensive than your supposed zmr and again refers back to my point of people with lesser cars being the first to try and put other people down due to their inferiority complexes. made worse when they actually fail.

and finally, when people have significantly more money than thou, they do not need a shift key

enjoy! (pic taken last year and posted on here with a whole load of others when i traded in my WHITE 20i for the RED 35is)

WOW, I was enjoying this thread, but how did we get from sub £300 watches to Z4's?! (rhetorical question)

But back on track and because of this blooming forum I own a Seiko Recraft Series Automatic Watch with 43.5mm Black PVD Case, Orange Canvas Strap SNKN39.

Okay, so it has not arrived yet, but that surely is a technicality, right?!

SWMBO is going to kill me - looks like I am cooking dinner today!

Oh yes, and I am waiting for a Vector smart watch to be delivered still. So no photo's from me, sorry.

Envy, take a long hard look at your last couple of posts, you come across as a completely shallow, money focused child. I used to think you spoke some sense with regards to BTL, but you seem to believe you are far wealthier than everyone. Lose the hang up with how wealthy you believe you are & comparing your wealth to others - you will be happier, and maybe less angry?! For a 37yr old spouting 'certainly shown you know nothing about anything' is priceless, I refer back to my child comment, grow up!

Post up the invicta model numbers, more than happy to help. If you really had spent that much money on each of them, you could have bought a decent watch instead, but it would have been less bling & people wouldn't think you were a hero for having a gold plated watch.

Edit, here we go:

Looks the same as yours, with the exception of one dial colour.....which I make all sub £300 from google.

Sorry, me taking it off topic as hate fakes.

Love the SNKN39, be interested to hear how big it wears when it arrives. At 43.5mm, it will need short lug to lug length to pull it off properly without looking like my Pam, ie probably slightly large. Think it would look great on an orange Nato with PVD hardware.

Well at least most of you just seem to look on here, get a link and then buy off tinternet keeping it a secret from the Mrs until it arrives. Unfortunately I get dragged round most watch dealers and even the local pawn brokers every week to see what they have in. I love watches but sometimes I'd like to go out and maybe just not go to any shops.

Tell you what though some pawn brokers especially those who are linked to others in the UK can get some really rare things. They also sell them for a lot less than worth in both the collectors market and trade. Maybe not £300 but if your ever looking for something a bit 'special' they can help source it.

This is Mr M's new watch. He has a Breitling but wanted an every day watch. It's a Red Arrows edition or something. I don't get the watch thing but I don't have to!
Crappy iPad picture, sorry.

Can't beat the Eco drives as daily watches, they are great!

Angie, I drag my wife around the dealers too. Not quite done the pawnbroker route yet, but should do it without my wife as she is the final encouragement telling me to treat myself! Couple I was considering have made it into the watch box that way!

Very in keeping with his Breitiling, Carol.

I do like the Citizen guys watch range, especially the radio controlled ones. Love how they just automatically adjust to the timezone no matter where you are in the world.

I don't mind it, just not every week for around 5 hours on the day. I do get asked for my opinion but it's usually if you like it, then why not get it? After all it's his money so he should buy what he wants and likes. He usually needs to think about these things, me on the other hand when I see what I'm after I know.

I do find myself buying new watches on impulse but they never get worn due to the fact I can't stand not to wear my AP due to the sheer cost, funnily enough not like that with my bags. I tend to keep the mucho expensive ones for good weather and occasions.

I would never have even given a pawn brokers a look but they sourced him a birth year Rolex 5513 with box and papers for less than trade and within a few months.

Wow, I'm on the lookout for a birth year rolex at the moment, not sure I can stretch to another sub though, especially birth year. My wife thinks I have too many divers & they all look the same, I can sort of see her point as I'm not a huge dress watch fan, and even the Pam is still a diver / too big for dressy.

Wish my wife thought about weather / bags, hate seeing her nice ones out in poor weather.

I need a new watch, and was looking at these. Citizen have done really nice designs right now. I'd love a Breitling, but it will be a while before I have £3k plus to drop on a watch :(

He's really pleased with it J.
His Breitling needs a battery change and he's been quoted nearly as much as the Citizen watch cost to replace the battery

Battery replacement is one thing I've never considered before until recently when the batteries went on a Tissot Moto GP watch and a Rotary double faced watch which has two batteries. I tried a number of Jewellers who wouldn't touch the watches so ended up sending them away to Tissot and Rotary and nice bill for over a 100 quid for both watches...eek , granted on the Tissot they had to replace the seal and unsure if it pressurised but even so a little eye watering :o :(

Tim.

Out of interest does anyone know what this watch is? I bought it off e-bay the other week for 80 quid new as was just attracted to its looks but know nothing about it except its called a T5? It came in a round padded tin but theres nothing much that gives away where its made etc. It said in the add on ebay they retail for £349.

Tim, not a brand I'm familiar with but a quick bit of digging seems to suggest they are manufactured by. Devars Watch Co in Shenzhen.

Cheers for the link, I did some Googling but only found a UK retailer and not much on the watches themselves. Its quite a nice looking watch and well made but the face dial on the right doesn't make sense to me with regard to the 24 hours :?

You might find you need to move the watch forwards 12 hours, that dial will effectively tell you if it is night or day time....should you be stuck in a cave, have no access to a window and a limited memory, or be kidnapped, placed in a boot and transported for many days etc

This. Sort of. I used to have an Omega Speedmaster Cosmic version (now traded in from another).. It had a simlar diall as the one on the right, but coloured blue and black for day and night. Apparently, submatine commander watches have the same, for the same reasons.
