As long as the numbers/letters are the correct height and spacing then there is no restriction to the overall length of the plate. I think

There is a minimum border (12mm IIRC) which must be preserved top bottom and sides.
I trimmed the ends off a standard plate to ensure that the font and spacing is correct. Had no problems with MoT or Police ANPR equipment

Thanks but its yellow not orange. Its still the dogs tho.

It looks orange in the pic, nice colour but not orange, I followed an orange one before I bought mine and ended up a mile out of my way because I was admiring it so much.

Personal Plates do it for me, !
I bought this one a few years back for my daughter Harriets 18th (Its her nickname) ....shame she's still only 14 so I thought I'd put it on the Z4 for the time being and save a few quid on retention fees !

Had plates for about 10 years now. Although plates are officially 'show plates' they always fail on MOTs, easy fix I always have a legal set in the garage for MOTs. Never been pulled by the fuzz...

Iv'e never lost money (usually made money) on all my previous plates. If you want it, get it as cheap as you can and dont be too keen ! - You can only decide what you'll buy it for, not what you can sell it for...
