As I've mentioned before, it's a nickname for my son (earwig) as his initials are EWG. So, pretty much a personal plate :D

I've got E15 AGS

Name plates are the business IMO. And the old school 6 digit (less is better) plates are the best ones to go for I reckon.

+1

For Xmas last year i surprised my girlfriend by buying M155 WAO ...(WAO) are her initials.

I figured that way I'd never have to buy a wedding ring etc...

I've got L9OON...I've had it years but it's off the car atm and I'm tempted to sell

FU2 is £450 k, that's an entire street in Middlesbrough, just to have fu2, you would have to be as mad as a badger wearing lipstick.

I had B16 AUP but read BIGA UP on my Z4.
Since emmigratting to Perth Australia and taking the Z4 with me this year my rego given to me from the Government is 1EGO294.
Just treated myself to a private plate for the Z4 last week 1 SP. Cain't wait to pick up the plates this week for it :D
The cost for my plate $465 !!!!
Good Bye Rip Off Britain :)

Saw 48K, or it might've been K48, on a black Aventador at the football on Saturday.

Personalised/vanity plates are not for me though. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Each to their own though, I know I'm in a minority.

Like so. Gets rid of the excess plastic that's not needed.

How is your plate attached BeetleGav and did you shorten it yourself?

Also have you plugged the holes?

I've got a 5 digit reg and want to get a shortened plate in my life!

Mine is M7 BMR

Bought it 10 years ago when I had a 325i. Supposed to represent My Bmr although I hoped there would be an M7 which might have increased its value. Ah well. Should have bought the M5 BMR and M6 BMR as well, they were available for £200 as well. :headbang:

Mind you currently sitting on my CRV as I haven't got round to transferring the plate to the Z yet. (Note to self: get finger out). :driving:

On a similar note i had X5 CJL as a birthday present a few years before the X5 was released which cost £300.

Got offered £5000 for it in a local petrol station about 5 years ago. :o

W3YLD (Nissan Navara work vehicle)
