Shes only gone and bought herself a private plate!

I wouldn't go crazy with a plate (as in spend loads of money on it) but mine was £399 so that will do me nicely :)

I had a guy approach me on a petrol station forecourt and said that the car was great condition seeing it was 10 years old, said yes and that it had only done a few thousand miles.....oh the irony :D

Nice plate though Emj, unfortunately for me, my initials and name are SARah, so anything decent with SAR isn't cheap would love SAR 5 but I'm not a multimillionaire :(

Haha!

Yeh you can spend some crazy money!

I could've got E1 JDN but that's 1k and that's not just going to happen lol

Now just have to wait patiently...

Yeh it can just go up to silly money!

But I knew my plate would be cheaper than buying new wheels etc and the other things I want to do! And the plate was too tempting for me!

At some point I think just do it if you want it though. They're not going to go down in price and if you reallllly want it do it!

We only want to make the cars look better lol

K66UPE on my coupe, love it, even though no one else has got it yet !!! :headbang: but way better imo than FD08VGN cheap too at £148 plus vat and fee

I bought GOW 987( GOW being my initials) about 13 years ago,Paid £1450 for it... Put it on a couple of BMW's and a Lexus, then i swapped it for a watch that i wanted.

I was browsing plates sites about a year later and it was for sale for £11,000..... DOH!... Waaaaay overpriced, but still..

Bought mine back in 1991 ( my initials ) tell anyone who asks I was born on June 3rd

And before anyone points out having a BMW logo and no postal code is technically illegal but I have some legal ones to put on at mot time.

Paid about £300 at the time - and about 6 lots of £80 each time I've transferred to a different car :x Allegedly worth about £700 now but meaningless to anyone other than Archibold Earnest Hepplethwaite

On my way back from Sainsburys today I've seen an M3 with MAX ITT and a DB9 with KICXX - both rather cool I thought.

I live in Cardiff, in the area we have :

K1 OSK

VET 2

6 FM

All pretty expensive I would have thought

Nice plate. We have matching plates - NI reg as im orginally from belfast. I have pdz 101 (paddys) and kel has klz 101 (kels) Need to save up for another for the x now!

I've got E15 AGS

Name plates are the business IMO. And the old school 6 digit (less is better) plates are the best ones to go for I reckon.

Congrats on the private plate 8)
