Disagree with you there, chap - I've grafted hard for a few years in my job. Proud of my house, proud of my car, neither of which I could have bought if I'd not done anything!

remember.. money is just an IOU for time.
Therefore, anything you buy with money, is actually paid for with something you've done....
 
Can't say I can really recall anybody who constantly brags about their Z being an ///M and superior to other Zs. Sure, there are people on here who constantly brag about how wonderful their cars are, how they are the best, most unique etc, in almost every single post (i'll name no names :wink: ), but of course these don't really relate to ///Ms.

More power than most z4s. Steve W is going to blow all other z4s out the water with his. Hang on though it has an ///M5 engine but its not an ///M :headbang: How the hell are we going to categorize his car :rofl:
 
I find it all quite funny cause 99% of owners of these top spec cars will never use them to their full potential.
Its like 4x4s that have never seen mud.
In the bike scene its always the guys with the new model who seem to remind everybody in every post that they have the new model.

A lot to do with how fast or slow a car or bike is. Is down to the driver rider.
I bet me in my car is quicker than some guys/girls in the ///M z4s. And i have no doubt there are people out there with 2.0l that could run rings around me.

Well, if inheriting a car (or ///Money to buy the car) then surely it would re///Mind you of a lost loved one? Surely that's a decent reason to take pride in the car?

Yes, you're proud on that you have worked hard for it and are now enjoying the fruits.
Would you be just as proud if you just inherited the money from a rich uncle?
That puts it in perspective on what you're truely proud of I think. :wink:
