I don't remember, in my 53 years, ever having been denied doing anything (lawful) because there are too many fat people in the Country.

Im not saying that you dont understand what they have said but,Nanu said:Having watched Boris and Matt Hancock today saying don't travel to red listed countries, only travel to Amber if urgent but quarantine on return, and you can holiday to green listed countries but still have to be tested, I found it very frustrating to watch BBC presenters on The One show ALL say it was confusing? What exactly is confusing?
Am I super intelligent (Don't think so) or is it the media just trying to tell us it's confusing to create an anti govt. story?
I fear this may be something to do with size and power of international airlines. I do work for one of them and they are only interested in getting their revenue streams back.Nictrix said:I saw something the other day about flights coming in from India while they were talking about the worrying Indian variant, there were half a dozen planes a day coming in, probably still is.

I am not a trolley dolly, I cut the grooves into the tyres when they get below 1.6mm, so they can get an MOT 8)firebobby said:Didn't have you down as a trolley dolly

So what would you say the majority opinion of those calling in was?TitanTim said:Listening to my local radio this morning there was quite a debate centered around should those who are declining the vaccine simply because they don't want it rather than for medical reasons be made to accept it![]()

I can tell you for certain NO ONE will "make me accept it." As many on the pro-choice group here in the US have said, "My body my choice". Seems to be accepted for the pro-choice crowd but not so much for the no-vaccine crowd...Hmmmm.
Maybe one is seen as a medical choice based on individual circumstance and with no/little effect on the wider population (other than the nutter protesters on either side), and the other is seen as a global public health emergencyOld-Duckman said:So what would you say the majority opinion of those calling in was?TitanTim said:Listening to my local radio this morning there was quite a debate centered around should those who are declining the vaccine simply because they don't want it rather than for medical reasons be made to accept it![]()

The point is this travel stuff is only advice and not Law as Matt Hancock said, they hope the public will act responsibly. There are some circumstances where a person can travel too or from a red or amber listed country but the quarantine rules then apply when they enter the UK.Nictrix said:Im not saying that you dont understand what they have said but,Nanu said:Having watched Boris and Matt Hancock today saying don't travel to red listed countries, only travel to Amber if urgent but quarantine on return, and you can holiday to green listed countries but still have to be tested, I found it very frustrating to watch BBC presenters on The One show ALL say it was confusing? If you are not allowed to travel to red listed countries then the sensible thing to do would be to stop flying planes there.
If there is a flight going somewhere and people can book a ticket they will go. If there are no planes going to these countries you cannot book a ticket therefore you cannot go.
