Roof Down ?

So thought I’d post a random question to see how many other members support my stance.

It’s a simple question everyone asks when I leave work on a cold dark (but dry) winters night..... why the hell are you putting the roof down!?!?

😂

My philosophy is RORO - Rains Off, Roof’s Off or alternatively Rains On, Roof’s On.

Simple ! That’s what heated sports seats and good blowers are for is it not ?

Who else is a true RORO supporter then ?

Tis the Law for roadiesters, certainly was when I had mine

I don't give a s**t how cold or dark it is. It's taps aff up here in Edinburgh :D

I am new to the Z4M but today’s trip to work was “ taps aff” and I always believe if it is dry it is appropriate and if it rains then drive quicker 😉

Me too if the Oberstormfurhin isn’t on board. If she is the rules change. No what I mean?

Me too, although I subscribe to WD too, roof down, Windows Down, roadsters aren’t meant to have the windows up with the roof down, they weren’t designed that way! :D

Agree with both roof and Windows down, the zed looks far better like that.

Got my "roro" badge & even if its raining its been known to stay down ,
Personal best timewise for duration was leaving Normandy at 1-30pm this October , landed home n Lancs some 12 hrs & 600 miles later roofdown the whole way :driving: i was tailed by a patrol car for 25 mins through Birmingham around midnight at 2 degrees  eventually pulled alongside me for a closer look then shot off , on a long night drive it certainly keeps you awake

I believe it's a crime endorsable with 6 points if caught with the roof up when not raining.

Anything over 40mph on a wet day and it goes over the top anyway. However, that said, the hail stones bouncing off the wind deflector on to the back of your ears is no fun at all.

First year with the car but always roro
Love the ... there goes the local nutter look everyone gives you .... they just don’t get it :driving:

Where do all you folk live? I seem to be the only person in Edinburgh that does this. Never seen another with the top down in the dark
