Roof Down ?

I'm a confirmed Roro, but what's the lowest temperature you folks have your roofs down? I worry the roof may crack when its got a hoar frost on.

Roof down all the time, unless a passenger moans or it's raining - although when it's really cold, dual carriageways / motorways aren't really fun.

It doesn't help that (IMO) the E85 is a really rubbish place to be with the roof up - very dark and cramped.

I've only had the roof up a handful of times since buying it - but it helps it's a second car!

Had mine down yesterday -1.5 Deg and I've had it down when colder too. Generally let the car warm up for a bit and ensure your heaters are on then pop it down. The heat helps soften it a bit before you just go for a full retract with the ice still on it :D

I have to leave mine on the drive Jamie25
I have a cabrio shield roof cover for mine .
That way , even if it’s frosty or wet from night before you still have a dry roof to drop  32490670-02D0-481C-A445-1EB2AC5104F3.jpeg

took her for a run roof down heated seats on full heater turned to furnace mode then back home and put cabrio shield back on

Hi all

I was driving home from work in the summer just gone. When I left work the roof went down. As I was driving from Thame towards M40, I could see in the distance some rain clouds :x .

So I thought, I would give it a go and leave the roof down. Got on the M40 north bound, just as I was approaching Junction 9 the heavens opened up. I put the windows up, and I was still going over 40 MPH. Not one drop touch my chrome dome

Until of course I hit Juction 10 when we came to a stand still :x

I agree with the majority (ROOF DOWN EVERY AND ANY MOMENT)

Another wonderfull trip out and back accross Dartmoor on Wednesday. Beautiful calm sunny day. Heading back after dark, I had the great bear for company to my right, low down on the horizon. (No not Rob  ) The stars my good zedders. :D :driving:

Roof down as when I can for me. The E85 is just a completely different experience with the roof down. Can't quite put my finger on what it is, but driving roof up at this time of year I can sort of understand why a lot of folks fall out of love with it and sell up. Hence alot of perfectly good cars having many owners

Another week of successful R.O.R.O. Thought I’d be leaving it at home by now cos of salt , rain , snow .... what a result :driving: šŸŽšŸ’¤šŸ’¤šŸ’¤šŸ’¤šŸ’¤

Hi linders
Flying jacked , flying hat , heated seats .... furnace heater .... oh , and a great big grin every time . Sometimes just one of the above, rarely all of the above....ALWAYS A BIG GRIN :driving: šŸŽšŸ’¤šŸ’¤šŸ’¤

I'm new , do you all have wind deflectors ?
Yup, it works well with the windows up to about 60mph to keep the wind out of the cabin. After that it still works but there is much wind to keep you fresh and awake. The OEM mesh one is the one to go for.
