However there is an important issue:
The BMW instructions are WRONG about the socket and pin the cruise control wire goes into in the engine management electronics. A cynic might suspect foul play here. Surely they would not lie to ensure they get extra money.....
NO ECU CODING IS REQUIRED It works straight away if you wire it right.
There is a post or link on this website to a chap who did a write up and gives the correct socket and pin address, seek it out before you start. And to the gentleman that did write it up - thank you very much.
