Hi.
I own a fab Midnight Blue metallic 3Ltr Si with extended champagne leather interior that includes the roll bars, it has electric memory sports seats, Piano black dash, Fitted Grom, and roof motor relocated into the boot, its a 2006 model but due to family illness its not being used and enjoyed. Its on 72k miles. I am going to sell. Clean MOT until March 2025.
Since I've owned it I have spent about 2K on it to get the following work done.
Wheels refurbished to graphite grey. New set of Goodyear tyres all round. New drilled and grooved discs and brake pads all round. New aircon condenser and system re-gassed. New spark plugs, Oil and filter change, oil changed to rear axel and gear box. I had it machine polished so it's ready to be enjoyed without any further expense. I bought the car off a Z4 forum member who had removed the back box off the exhaust but this has now been put back to normal because the drone was just too much.
I'm not able to get out to take some nice photo's right now but thought I would put the cars details up anyway. I have to do some searching to see what the going prices are yet but I do have a couple of old Photo's. I would be looking f

That’s looks like a good example, in a very nice colour combo (had one myself)…. But that is a very punchy price in todays market.

Best of luck.

I thought that plate looked familiar! I was interested in this last time it was up last March. Didn’t work out with the seller. GLWTS

Good looking car, what is the service history?,receipts for any work done and where are you based?

Yes I realise the market is quiet, and yes there are cheaper ones about, but like when i bought this one there's always parts that need changing or service work to do and that's why I've thrown money at mine to get it ready to go. Unfortunately, now its ready health issues interrupt everything.
Anyway cheers for the comment it is a nice combo and all of the horses are very much alive and kicking. When I get around to it I will take a number of photos and the service history and factory spec sheet too.
If it's not the right time to sell then it's safely locked up.
Based near Bridgend S. Wales.

I’ve just purchased a zed with what I believe is the standard hifi system, 8 speakers including in the footwells that I only discovered last night.
It is honestly a surprisingly good sound, far better than I expected. I wouldn’t select a car based purely on this as it is one of the easiest things to upgrade anyway.

Has it got the 10 speaker sound system? Thanks

I will have to check I've not counted them myself because the sound is really good. It does have the Business Radio if that helps?

Yes I have a file of receipts and service records, but that's too much to post up here sorry, I'm not good at uploading stuff at the best of times :D

A few photo's I'm so reluctant about parting with this

You are asking more than top money for this so your best chance of selling it is by doing a detailed advert.
Which obviously includes Service history details miles intervals etc.

Sorry to disappoint, the standard hi-fi has only 6 speakers, the speaker grilles in the door cards are empty, unless someone has retro-fitted an extra pair there.
The easiest way to tell if you have a 10-speaker system is to look behind the seats. There will be speaker grilles where the storage cubbies would otherwise be.
The 10-speaker system came in two flavours: DSP/Carver and non-DSP. Both are much better than the standard system.

£9K for a car with that much gappy history, good luck with that, your gonna need it

You won't find another that's in as good a condition as this one both mechanically and bodywork condition inside and out . If you buy your cars based only on the historical events do you honestly think they would be better.

So, in what way is it in better condition than this one, for instance:

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202406090573783

No connection to the car, but you say no one will find one as good as yours, so would be interesting to know some specifics, thanks.

No, but it would make a big difference, you can have the best bodywork in the world but if its a bag of spanners under the hood what would be the point, you say I wont find a better car mechanically, on what grounds can you quantify that, is that just over the last year you had it, what about the decade before hand and the 9 year gap in service history

I would have every confidence for anyone interested to have it AA or RAC inspected. It is mechanically sound, I am not the kind of owner who would try sell a "Bag of Spanners" to a fellow forum member. My reason for selling is health issues, not me but my wife, nothing else, so if it stays with me that's fine too, I don't mind it parked up in the garage and wait to see if matters change.
Don't know why you feel the need to criticize the history or assume condition, your welcome to come have a test drive no obligation needed I will make you a coffee.
