Probably asking a dumb question (and I still want one regardless) -

How weatherproof will Steel be vs the Ally version? Are we relying on the Powder coat for weatherproofing or is the steel stainless?

Yeah, exactly, the powder-coat will weather-proof the scoop and as long as it's not damaged to reveal the steel underneath, will be fine.

No Feb is fine. With this many to do, I will drop them all off to the powder coater in one go and pick up when they're all ready. Will probably be Feb or near to, anyway.

Cant you do a small aluminium batch? Maybe painted or even bare? I don't mind painting it myself.
I'm afraid that the extra weight from the steel will resonate (on bumps etc) and maybe over time crack/tear the plastic, so I really prefer an aluminium one if that's possible.
