Not sure there is tbh. You need software of some sort that will operate the pump.

Thought so. Just read your How To.....I guess I should really find out how to get INPA and some oldish laptop to run it on.....
Pretty straightforward. You buy the cable for about £50, then the software can be downloaded for free.
I'm not IT savvy at all and hit some issues with some of the files.
Luckily [ref]street[/ref] kindly connected remotely to my laptop and sorted it all out for me.
Just catching up on this previous comment. Bimmertools have had legal action taken against them so they can no longer supply the software for free!

Great result
All I need now is for Pompey to wrap up the League One title tonight and it'll be a perfect couple of days.

You gone all Chinese on me now, no idea what you are talking about but having heard the Norfolky language recently I am sure it means something

Absolutely amazing result but never in doubt! Thanks again Martin, you have been fantastic. Can’t wait to meet you next week and pick up my first Z! Spa here I come!

The mighty Portsmouth Football Club! Phillistine.

For anyone who's read this far........thank you........... and I have had a thought you could maybe help with:
I am going to put the remaining 1/2 litre of oil in the boot for Mark, along with a couple of spare coils (which will also fit his mate's 2.0 if needed)
Anything else you can think of that may be worth taking?
And does anyone have any useful spares they'd maybe donate to the cause? Both for a 2.5si (N52) and a 2.0 (N46).

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Project Spa. A little bit of a prima donna on start up, but otherwise proudly bearing a full MOT with not a single advisory.
I am well chuffed.
.

That's great news Martin.

But not surprising given how many Z4s you've sorted out now.

After a couple of pheasant strikes I added a carrier bag, gloves, gaffa tape and cable ties to my emergency boot kit! If the car doesn't have run-flats Tyre Weld or similar and a compressor might be a good plan, or possibly even a full size spare, jack and wheelbrace as it would fit either Z4.

I'm sure there are plenty of other things I've overlooked.

Well done Martin!

You have more patience (and mechanical skills) than I will ever have.
I would have told the owner to 'come and pick up the POS cos it's knackered' long ago! :)

I would have done this one for free as it’s been such a learning curve for me and hopefully encouraged others too.
We have agreed payment to be a keg of Ghostship 👍🏻

Obviously a 'Narfolk' tipple! :?

Can you come over and do some stuff on the Z3? Sorry can't bring it to you. It's got no seats, or lights.....or body panels, or steering wheel...or wheels! I will give you four cans of "Smolski" (it's the favoured tipple in this neck of the woods). :D

And Pompey Champions!!
My day is complete. :D
I thought you would be a B&HA fan seeing as where you hail from.
Used to alternate between the two, but Pompey is a far better club as far as support is concerned. I tried both but only one worth the support

Surely you should be supporting Narich with Delia now!

Calling [ref]x_rays[/ref].
Janis are you still here?
Trying to get the bluetooth module to pair with my phone but can't detect it. Did it work when you had it?
If so, is there a process I'm not following?

[ref]Wayo11[/ref], the other option would be to fit a different one, but that seems a waste of money if I'm just not seeing something.

Don’t panic! All sorted. Took the radio out for a rummage.
Now I’m not as clued up on all these music things in cars as some of you lot, but even I know a bluemusic adaptor won’t work if the plug isn’t connected.
Popped it back in and works a treat.

They usually don't work if they are not connected. :D Just find bluemusic in da list.

Hope this helps.

Janis.
