I think enough attention has been given towards marius's comment. frankly It was out of line but im not sat crying in the corner of a cold shower over it. it confuses me how prople still actually believe I give a damn about the reactions this car causes.
anyway... moving swiftly forward thanks for all the votes on the colour I will definately pick a colour will suit the car.
I have decided that the car needs another months work back in the bodyshop some small changes need to be made to the aesthetics before I am happy with the profile of the car. I have a friend of mine taking the car under his wing a week on monday to make the amends... some small changes need to be made to the underside to improve drivability and then yeah. paint time!

Just caught up on the thread....
As the build was going I didn't think I'd like the end result, but after seeing the final result (bar a splash of paint and a couple of body tweaks) I'm almost half way to really liking it. Which strangely is my stance on marmite too.....
Personally I agree with the comments on the wing, I think a 'moulded in' wing would look good ( F40 / Celica GT4 style) , purely because the current one looks like the only bought in part on a completely unique vehicle. But, thats my 2p's worth!
Slightly off topic, but was there a specific reason for a convertible rather than a coupe? I keep picturing it with a white roof and then as a coupe! That would look awesome too!
Either way, big points for having the balls / madness to do this, I feel the stormtroopers sports car of choice is here.
