Can you not put a pearlescent paint on the bonnet that will match the rest of the car but reveal the carbon weave in the light?

Think you should add the kidney grills, they are a BMW trait. :thumbsup:

I don't think you can hide it and reveal at an angle.. but you can certainly paint it in a way not to hide the weave:

This. Massively this! You'll have extreme (of course!) kidney grills but they'll be unmistakably BMW.

Why do I feel like this community has gone full circle?? Does nobody remember what the bumper looked like BEFORE I cut the middle spoke out??

it does look better with the middle bit brad for the kidney grills. I think the one thing that puts me off the front mouth is where you have cut the central piece out, it has left a small droopy bit at the top!if it were straight i think it would look better.

Brad I agree full circle! Lol don't get the kidney grills it looks wrong elongated like that. If anything I would say that you need to remove that bump in the middle where you've chopped the bar out and make it one smooth curve It looks like something is missing at the mo.

One of the things I love about our cars is the massive smooth bonnet, you've gone and added to that with the wings it would look fan in that red. Especially with a high gloss wet look shine :)

I can understand the carbon fibre bonnet for weight saving but not black with that red. If you left it white maybe.
