My favourite plate belongs to a friend of mine who has owned it for a number of years and has had it on a number of different mercs.

H12UAL which he has spaced to read H1 2U AL He always gets loads of toots and waves.

I just checked, and that one's available for me, can even use HI instead of H1... :)
But won't everyone wonder who 'AL' is?

A guy round the corner from me has "T15 TAS"... perhaps there's "T15 TAZ" somewhere....?

As we have W1YLD in the family, I found WYL1D this week.
Reduced from £14,xxx something to £12,xxx something.

Called and offered £7500.00 and they've been hounding me ever since. Even though the lady on the phone said an offer of £9000 had been turned down!!

Illegal spacing + dodgy placement of screw covers = worst kind of plate.
The whole point of the private plate is that it's a piece of "personalisation" that, lets face it, it a complete waste of money.

At least he didn't spend too much.

Condensation in both headlights? Still sporting the tax disc?
It was filthy by 5 o'clock, don't worry!

This is on the DVLA site

Never felt the need for one. But when I bought my zed, although it was registered in 2007, it still has the registration that the previous owner put on it - an older single letter prefix with three numbers and three letters. I have to say that I'm warming to it. It has no "meaning" for me, personally, but it has a bit of mystery about it in that it doesn't show the age of the vehicle.

I have looked for the availability of "W4 NKR" but it seems it's not available. That's the only one I'd go for. Seriously, I'd love that on my car - no, really.

Yes I have got one - RN51 ZED - RN for my initials and the ZED is obvious, its just a pity I am not 51 or born in 1951 but hey ho, I tried to get them to space it as RN5 1 ZED for RN`s 1 ZED but they said no :(
