Picked my Cayman up today.

Before we bought my wife's 335 there was plenty of reports saying the interior was rubbish !

Where is your handbrake? Mine is in that horrible position on the right side under the dash somewhere (if I can ever find it …).

Ok - test of today, pull or push to release. I do it wrong every time

Where is the logic in that. You need one hand for the gearstick and the other for the handbrake.

Electronic handbrake, you drive away with it on (does the hill start function).

Only when parked and drive away do you need to release it.

That's why most people buy the automatic version - you have to be a three-handed Dutchman to drive the manual...

Yes - so is mine, illogical in my mind as I do it wrong most of the time ….

Travelling up from M40 this aft alongside a yellow one
Got to be one of the best 2 seater cars on the road right now , any angle it looked stunning
Lucky fella :) be sure to enjoy it

On the subject of Porker interiors .. at goodwood i sat in all of the 911's they had on the stand and the interior quality varies heavily, primarily due to spec.

The base model, with no real interior perks is a pretty bland cold and clinical cockpit, its definitely not luxury nor a 100k car feel. We actually all preferred the base boxter to it interestingly.

Comparatively, sitting in a fully specced 911 GTS .. wow, that's a 100k car interior. The extra leather, premium finishes and alcantara etc makes for a much more special place. First time ive actually really been affected by 'extended leather', usually it just seems like a waste of dough.

Had my Porsche Experience day today and it was a fantastic day. Started off with a three course meal, then 2.5 hours of driving a Cayman spilt between me and the missus.
Wow the Cayman sticks to the road like sh1t to a blanket! I've read all about the handling of the Cayman but I never thought the car would be that good.
The only downside to the day was the car we used had the sports exhaust button which sounds utterly amazing......and I didn't specify it on my car :(

I know we all love a picture so here you go....
