Meds said:I had a bad experience with an Eibach Pro lowered coupe.
Especially with ET37 fronts.
I suffered 2 problems.
Rubbing arch liner on both front sides, and it was just too low.
The underside would catch on roads that had a hump or raise in the middle of the lane, the front bumper would hit curbs, too.
Not that I ever park front in, but the missus tried once and caught the front.
It ruined the experience.
Swapping to a more conservative wheel offset solved the arch liner rub, but it was still too low.
I went back to OEM spec Suplex springs at the front. Problems solved.
Some folk say they can get away with the Eibach Pro, without suffering either of my problems, others experience the same.
Maybe some Eibach Pros are saggy?
Thank you.STC_Zed said:Looks like a good day out. Your coupe looks great in Phoenix Yellow.
Thank you.STC_Zed said:The car looks great OP, especially considering how unloved it was when you started. Phoenix Yellow is a great colour, shame it’s so rare.

Took the Zed to Oulton Park today, it was fantastic.
Lots of positive comments about the Zed, especially my backstory with it.
Saw some beautiful cars, nothing BMW flavored but did see this utter beast of a car. A Lister Le Mans, 7L V12, twin Supercharger, 600bhp and reported 200mph. It was a proper poster car from my youth. What a thing.

What a silly thing to say, he's clearly the young man stood next to Mr Hammond, though I have to say he looks quite young to be driving.
It’s a Mini Marcos. Pretty sure it’s loosely based on Mini running gear, but given its pace, it can’t have been an A-series engine.Fred Smith said:Hut man said:Good photo of the wee man and your lad![]()
Nice work!
What car is that little blue rocket, Monster?
