Phoenix Yellow Coupe project.

Sorry, meant to add car is coming on brilliantly 👍

For obvious reasons I sympathise with your good lady and wish her all the very best.

You’re doing some fantastic work there! I’m enjoying the thread. Phoenix yellow does look nice on a coupe.

I’m old enough to remember when mini marcos were seen buzzing about on the road, and I also worked close to the Lister workshop in Leatherhead during the late 80s. What a car the lister Le Mans is, pretty ugly like the marcos to be honest, but of that “men in sheds” era before cars and racing got a bit too computerised.

I think that’s why I’ve fallen for the e85 and e86 because they are just on the right side of analogue for me.

Keep up the good work, and good luck to you and yours

I never really liked PY on E46s, but actually think it really suits the Z4 coupes shape. Nice to see one getting brought back it’s former glory

As someone said earlier you did well to find PY parts, although with 2 doors, 2 wings and both sill covers I imagine the donor car is no more. :(

Still looking on the bright side it makes yours a bit more unique!

And it's good to see you getting it how you want it after finding it in pretty poor shape.

The car was being broken by a well know Z specialist, apparently it was part of a messy divorce. It was a 2L Roadster, so not quite as rare as the coupe
Need to get some more work done on it.
