I often look after a friend's dog (can't get my own yet... rented house) and take him out for long walks... it's brilliant watching people's face when a shiny sports car pulls up, the door opens, they expect a shapely leg to extend... and instead a mental border collie bounds out
(don't worry, I protect the seats before letting him anywhere near! He's brilliant in the car, just curls up on the seat and waits until we get where we're going and I open the door for him!)
