On its way, no it’s now arrived - Picture Heavy

Frozen Grey is a Marmite colour and I’m still not convinced yet .

I’ve had the general nod of approval from Mrs K so it’s all a possible now. The extra luggage space is an attraction for her. I suppose it really depends on how many £‘s my current old jallopy is worth and delivery times.

I could wait until the Spring time with the hope we will be able to travel to Germany as usual.

It is a marmite colour but least its different colour.

Be worth a bit now Ron - peak prices for low mileage 35iS with all the goodies included - just do it and enjoy the ride :D

It would mean I’d be without an open top for the summer :|

Not the end of the world - guess it is a case how much will the price drop if you sell next year and how much does that impact on what you want to do.

The thing is that 35iS has no mileage and is a storming car so what is the driver for a G9?

That’s the downside, the upside is a brand new car  You know when you want something you make the math work in your favour, I spoke to my 86 yr old mum to ask her opinion as she’s financially responsible (a polite word for tight) and even she said what are you waiting for :D

Then if its what you want - why worry about one summer without a vert - others to follow, just buy one

Do it. 2nd hand prices are crazy. Great time to buy new if you can imagine without a zed for a few months.

I had the same problems when I bought the current jallopy!

SWMBO needs to limit your time on the internet

I spend nothing except house and car and when the house is finished I am having the car I want - end of

Just wondering what your car came shod with, the specification states Michelin Pilot Super-sports, but these have been superseded commercially by Pilot Sport 4S though for OEM’s they may still be produced

Sars, I’ll check when I back out but I’m sure it’s Pilot Super Sports

Well as you know it’s now here and it’s lovely. Couple of quick observations, the colour and combo with the shadowline pack really suits this car and we’re delighted with it. I honestly have lost count of the amount of comments and compliments we’ve had.

It’s a very nice place to be and I like the smooth drive and tech in it. The biggest surprise, probably because I’ve never had it before, is the adaptive cruise. I really really like it. The seating position and overall cabin space is great.

Personal choice again but I’m so glad we never went for frozen grey. Came out this morning and the bonnet had some serious bird sh!t on it. Being ceramic coated it was down to Halfords’s for some Autoglym bird dropping removal wipes and after leaving them soaking for 5-10 minutes they came off no bother.

Anyway some of you asked for some proper photos so here you go, oh and I forgot how hot it can be with the roof down

Anyway - only one photo - what's going on

You’ll need to get a new calculator, there’s two :poke:

Was just going to get some ready to stick some up and just been told “the sun’s out, move your arse, we going out!!”

I’ll post later but when we went down for breakfast the hotel manager asked to speak to me and I was like :awww feck” he said to me “I have a question for you sir, what engine size is in your BMW and is it fast” :driving:

Two virtually the same - I want some with decent scenery included

Out is best when the the sun is there but get some posted ASAP.

Nice to know he was interested in it - maybe you can flog it to him at a profit

Now fixed for you :P

He may be interested but he ain’t getting it.

Proof of the sun, feckin idiot
