Andy, that's a cracking car - cant wait to get my discount offer in 6 months

Love the colour, enjoy the first drive buddy

Sean, I’m afraid even after just a day you’ll be waiting more than 6 months :driving:

It is lovely tbh and we’re very happy with our choice

Thank you very much gents for all your kind comments. Absolutely fantastic first day with it. It just feels a very nice place to be and exceeded my expectations. Of course from a completely biased view, it looks stunning in the flesh

You are right about the blue, there is chap up the road from me who has just got the new Z4 in Misano blue with cognac interior (I think that's the name) and it looks stunning! Gorgeous colour! What colour is your interior, looks like black from the photos but not sure.

Yes, ours is a black interior. We weren’t that keen on the lighter ones, black is easier to clean in our opinion

Its a stunning colour - the wheels I could take or leave but the car definitely looks better in blue or red IMHO - what's the new dash like after the analogue e89

Just keep her away from the internet or you know there will be trouble - she has expensive tastes car wise

Much more complicated for oldies like me suffering from information overload but fortunately you can opt for a simplified dash.

I have had the digital dash in a Pug and a DS (her car) and quite like them but the BMW is more stylised and should be easier to use with better graphics

I had the previous iDrive plus digital dash in my recently part exchanged 630 GT and it was far simpler to set up and use. No doubt I will get there in the end with this one but I'm not there yet

It is just the shift in technology - all cars will go this way as it is now cheaper to produce than analogue gauges - I quite like it even though I don't mind the e89 dash.

Her DS is quite complex as you have dive into it for certain options which is not great on the move.

In fact once set up as I wanted, I never really changed the Pug one much

Anyway - only one photo - what's going on

You’ll need to get a new calculator, there’s two :poke:

Was just going to get some ready to stick some up and just been told “the sun’s out, move your arse, we going out!!”

I’ll post later but when we went down for breakfast the hotel manager asked to speak to me and I was like :awww feck” he said to me “I have a question for you sir, what engine size is in your BMW and is it fast” :driving:

I think the shadow line plus pack looks great with the blue, lovely

Have a fabulous drive home

Sars, when we started looking the black wheels was one of the few things Kathleen said was an absolute no, until she saw a picture of a SF red one and it completely changed her mind. As I said to you previously she wanted to see the red in the flesh and when she saw the two together she opted for the blue but it had to have the shadowline pack.

We will do and I bet you can’t wait for yours to arrive

There’s a SF Red and shadowline M40i in the brochure, I think you need to see it in the flesh perhaps to appreciate it more. And yes I would rather a months wait than three months wait :(

Just wondering what your car came shod with, the specification states Michelin Pilot Super-sports, but these have been superseded commercially by Pilot Sport 4S though for OEM’s they may still be produced

Two virtually the same - I want some with decent scenery included

Out is best when the the sun is there but get some posted ASAP.

Nice to know he was interested in it - maybe you can flog it to him at a profit
