I think they are both busy telling the rest of the world how vaccines don't work and kill more people than they save; quoting various internet sources to prove it.
Burger anyone? :D

I do love that despite never once saying any of the above (in fact the literal opposite on numerous occasions) I am somehow tarred with that brush.

Wishing you a speedy recovery John!

Three family members have had Omicron, all have been positive before but no real symptoms at all this time
Omicron is contagious af. Delta was much weaker in that respect.

I’m here, thanks for asking...Pureblood as ever, unmasked, unvaxxed and unafraid.

Actually my vacation ended and I was back at work yesterday, moving my office two doors down and will finish up today.

I’m sure everyone has seen it but it is fun to repeat...Rearrange the letters In Omicron and you get moronic! Hmmmmmmm.

CFA.

Hmm, what is selfish about not subjecting myself to an experimental gene therapy that does not stop transmission, or ensure that the vaccinated will not catch the virus? Please educate me.

Perhaps I'm selfish because I prefer to stay as God created me with an immune system that has worked just fine my entire 66 years...If that is selfish , I stand guilty as charged!

Oh well, off to work to finish moving my office...Later then.

You are beyond any teachers ability to educate.

Your parents created you, no imaginary friend was involved.

Yep but less of a risk to overall health - I prefer neither but would rather Omicron if I had to get one of the viruses :(

He bleats on and on about “as God created “ yet says he is ex military- I suspect jabs would have been mandatory in the US military?

I'm not vaccinated, and I got it pretty bad dose of it on the 18th December that lasted right through to the 28th (I very rarely get ill, maybe 20 years ago I had a bad cold/flu). I was knocked out with bad fatigue and headaches, which felt pretty terrible at the time but on reflection, it was honestly very similar to a bad case of the flu. There were times when it was bad that I thought how would have I dealt with this if I was vaccinated, but in life, I tend to lean towards trust your body to deal with things, it'll be stronger as a result of working harder to protect you. (*I never ever take medicine, paracetamol, etc....last time was over 25 years ago)

Having gone through it, I'm maybe a bit more open to vaccination, but as I now hopefully have a strong level of natural immunity I'm still not compelled to do it. However, if it rumbles on to a new variant then maybe I'll begrudgingly get myself doped up.

My gym has the main local vaccination centre in one of the halls. I walk past the queues of people lining up to get their vaccination, many of them smoking and clinically obese...all waiting to top up their health in a jab. We are a strange bunch :?

Aren't the ones ending up in hospital now the unvaccinated as they thought along the lines of some on here, I don't need it etc. Ironically now same persons have been begging for the vaccine once strapped to an ICU bed

Funny old world.

ONS Statistics show that between week 45 and week 48 2021, overall and in each age category with the exception of under 29s there are more vaccinated than unvaccinated attending hospital for emergency care within 28days of a covid test.

Interestingly also over 40 there are more deaths in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated under both the 28day since and 60day since tables.

Did you read the footnote on interpretation?

Statistical analysis cannot be done via numbers only.

In the context of very high vaccine coverage in the population, even with a highly effective vaccine, it is expected that a large proportion of cases, hospitalisations and deaths would occur in vaccinated individuals, simply because a larger proportion of the population are vaccinated than unvaccinated and no vaccine is 100% effective. This is especially true because vaccination has been prioritised in individuals who are more susceptible or more at risk of severe disease. Individuals in risk groups may also be more at risk of hospitalisation or death due to non-COVID-19 causes, and thus may be hospitalised or die with COVID-19 rather than because of COVID-19.
