Wifey, her aunt staying with us and I have omnicron, all triple jabbed, all with nasty head colds but really nothing more. If this is as bad as it gets I'm happy to get it over and done with when it ends. Dread to think how we'd be if not triple jabbed....How are others here with, or had it...?

If this gets any responses I'm going down the burger pictures route. :|
PS Hope you get well soon John Boy.

It seems pretty mild and has virtually eliminated delta

Fwiw the more jabs you’ve had the worse it is apparently

Seemingly the worst variety for immuno suppressed people (according to my health professionals) but otherwise a heavy cold/flu seems to be about the norm.

Where's Old Duckman when you need him? :P
And FF?
Also it's Omicron, not Omnicron (that sounds like the baddies from The Terminator, or Robocop) :D

You would be best off checking the Moon Phase first?
I think they are both busy telling the rest of the world how vaccines don't work and kill more people than they save; quoting various internet sources to prove it.
Burger anyone? :D

I tested positive yesterday, but 2 days previously got a negative , but gradually went down hill , feel better this morning, nowhere near 100% in any way !! , yesterday and previous night were horrendous for me and I’ll leave it at that !!
I caught it approx 1week after the 3rd jab (which probably had not taken up effective protection) and this was over 6 months after my second jab.
As it was Christmas I had a lot of events etc planned, so I picked it up somewhere amongst the masses .
I’m no virologist, chemist etc,but it certainly hasn’t been mild , so a guess says it was delta for me. I’m also a fit and healthy cyclist /runner. Fingers crossed I’m now over the worst.
And best of luck if you are unwell with it .
This is the first time I’ve picked up my phone in the last 3days !!! So
Happy new year everyone

Varied from mild to bad cold if vaccinated amongst those I know who have had Covid in the last few months. Varies from mild symptoms to hospitalisation amongst those I know who haven't been jabbed. You should be fine and just suffer for a few days.

Had it over Christmas and new year. 41 years old and double jabbed only (3rd one due but will have to slip right now).
For me it was a weak cold, still did everything planned (indoors obviously), such as cooked Christmas meal etc. Did feel a little low on energy but nothing to write home about.
Also missus had it and gave it to me and she got it off her kids, both had it. So we ended up with 4 people in the house with it over Crimbo (almost no symptoms at all). The interesting part is my eldest daughter 9 and sub 2 year old never even caught it despite being in the house with 4 people with it. I shied away from kissing them on the face but that was pretty much the only rule we implemented. Kissed top of heads etc.

The good news is that it'll likely be over by March, maybe February, and omicron may be the most infectious form this virus is able to take (it's already the most infectious virus known it appears). And in that case, it will continue to dominate future mutations as they occur while, perhaps becoming even less capable of causing damage to the host.

Tested positive over Christmas two days with a sore throat and a cough, nothing since. All clear now and wife as tested negative the whole time. I know twenty or so people all tested positive, but all mild or no symptoms. It’s all as an expert said would happen, the virus would mutate and fizzle out, which looks like what’s happening. Happy days ahead people

Jabs and booster the key, don’t forget it
