I'm not vaccinated, and I got it pretty bad dose of it on the 18th December that lasted right through to the 28th (I very rarely get ill, maybe 20 years ago I had a bad cold/flu). I was knocked out with bad fatigue and headaches, which felt pretty terrible at the time but on reflection, it was honestly very similar to a bad case of the flu. There were times when it was bad that I thought how would have I dealt with this if I was vaccinated, but in life, I tend to lean towards trust your body to deal with things, it'll be stronger as a result of working harder to protect you. (*I never ever take medicine, paracetamol, etc....last time was over 25 years ago)
Having gone through it, I'm maybe a bit more open to vaccination, but as I now hopefully have a strong level of natural immunity I'm still not compelled to do it. However, if it rumbles on to a new variant then maybe I'll begrudgingly get myself doped up.
My gym has the main local vaccination centre in one of the halls. I walk past the queues of people lining up to get their vaccination, many of them smoking and clinically obese...all waiting to top up their health in a jab. We are a strange bunch :?
