Now very Happy with my E89 35is purchase

Hum... I think I'm seeing part of the problem here! I think you need to book a day and go for a nice long drive on quieter A roads and wider B roads :) :driving:
 
the 35is looks great but I would say that being slightly biased.
Also love the red as my last 28i was the same colour and it buffs up really well.

Going back a couple of pages re the MPG I got around 35 driving up the M1 from buying mine recently in London back to gods country but getting 25/26 around the town and don't know if that is good or average. Certainly well short of what BMW say. But what the hell great car to drive so enjoy
 
I'm getting my mpg in the mid-20s & right now I'm deliberately not using motorways & trunk roads when possible. Still managed 29mpg on a backroad trip to brandshatch which included tricking down the A20 at near walking pace in both directions.
 
Joking apart James jump on here for a chat when the doubts creep in, I very much doubt anyone wants to see you lose cash or make a regrettable decision.
