3.0 lump 217kgs/ V10 240kgs, and it sits 35mm further back than 6. Hence the need to make new gearbox mount and shortened prop.
No need for bump on bonnet fits fine as standard, anyways wouldn't like people to think its trying to be a M series car. IT'S WAY MORE THAN THAT
Hi. I've been meaning to follow up with any updates, but this is always a very busy time for me what with customers cars/projects. There's been a few items on my wanted list that I couldn't source second hand, Z4m front bumper for one. So while in my local BMW stealers picking up a new seat base foam, I happened to mention about a bumper casing. The parts guy is very interested in the project and quoted me £570+ vatGrumpyowl said:

Another major purchase and hard to source was a very low mileage E46 M3 rear axle 18,000mls. I've been hounding a guy I know who breaks BMW's, he eventually caved in and sold me it.
So now I've a pile of bits that I'll strip and clean up and fit uprated bushes to once powder coated. As for painting I'm wondering if I can remove all the panels so as I still progress with the suspension. Should be doable as their all bolt on, the door pillars are the only area that would need doing if needed.
I'm putting up the original bumpers and tail lights for sale as I'm falling over them.
