Some nice figures those, 200mph would be nice even if it is only a theoretical figure.

No the underbody will be sprayed when the axle's removed. I've watch vids on you tube and your right they can push 200mph also nearly 500kgs heavier than my project. I know it'll get there a lot quicker, especially when mapped to around 560/580 bhp. Definitely won't be making this date, still way to many areas to finish. At present its without any body panels as their all being painted. Also I'm just about to swap over complete rear axle, so I'll post up some pics once removed and some before and after.Grumpyowl said:

The Z4 looks well strange without its clothes on, sure I'd get very strange looks if driven on the road. I've been having all the body panels painted individually as this allows all the checks covered. What I've found and want to keep to myself is Phil the painter, Wow can he paint !!! Shocked how stunning these panels have come out, they look like glass. Here now lies my quandary, when fitted I'm pretty sure they could be show quality. Yeh obviously I'm delighted but I normally build my cars to be driven and hard. When finished I'll probably want to tuck it in a carcoon and just sit and look at it thru its plastic windows.
I hope you members aren't easily shocked! I promise you I will rebuild her
