Agree I think 10k would be about right and I would buy it at that price.

I just tried we buy any car for a bit of fun on these cars.... the black one came in at £6700 and the red m sport £9600 obviously it’s estimated but it gives me a rough idea of pricing.

WBAC offered my £10.5K for mine so no idea why they are so low on the ones you have added in :?
But yours is Highline... got to be worth more which it will be. Just tried my Volvo they offered £4200 in June now it’s £2800.. maybe they are preparing for winter markets.

Not certain Highline makes much difference to WBAC - maybe now summer is over the price for mine would drop

WBAC seem to be offering strong money at the moment. Over the course of a month or so mine went from £11k to over £12250.
Wizzle also priced it at £12200 and that was after I'd declared the scuffing on the wheels.
I'd take £12500 for mine if someone on the forum wants it as I'd like it to stay within the Z4 community. The forum has been useful to me so I'd like to give someone a chance to get a well specced car that's been looked after for a decent price. It'll go on Autotrader for more, to cover advertising costs etc

I’ve got to say your car is absolutely beautiful, an utter bargain. Wished I had an extra 2k or wanted an auto I’d be all over this.

100% spot on, that needs to be on A/T at £14k with a bit of wiggle room for an offer - if I did not have mine I would be buying that pretty darn quick, my favourite colour and really well spec'd

I wonder how they price a car with all the toys as I think they just pay for a car on the basic spec. But for example that red version is priced at £9700 wbac and forecourt is £11350 that’s not a big profit for a dealer.

No idea but as you said not much margin for a dealer based on those pries, however a dealer will have it up for more :)

So very true - they will chip it down for every little thing
Not necessarily. I have a mate who sold his 2016 530d tourer to them. When he turned up the salesman had a word with his boss and they gave him £500 more than the online quote.
WBAC value the car from the reg number. That gives the VIN details to their computer, so it knows the spec instantly.

Thats a pretty rare occasion, normally they chip away for anything as we have used them a few times and have walked away on one occasion

On another note this car is round the corner from me which is extremely rare but I feel it is overpriced, what do you guys think?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304082399915?hash=item46ccb932ab:g:oq0AAOSwHihg~xJ3

Thats now ended and been relisted at 10995 or best offer, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bmw-z4-23i-sDRIVE-/304095705841?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 if its local its got to be worth a look.. if you like it make an offer around 9500, they'll probably refuse.. move to 9750 if they still decline move to a 10 max and tell them thats already over your max budger, if they refuse that walk away and tell them your offer stands if they want to rethink and leave your number.. willing to bet you would get a call within 48 hours. Its a really nice motor and colour combo with all the toys you want a full sevice history and long mot.. even in a buoyant market 10k private is a good deal for the seller imho.. you may be paying a slight premium but if could be the right car for you and local its not a bad deal for you by any means

[ref]Smash[/ref], I agree with this 100% sticking to your max limit, you will get a phone call even if it’s to try to get them to up your bud. Tell them that your initial £9.5k was your limit but you stretch to £10k letting them know that the spend is already over budget.

I’ve requested a viewing today. Just did a quick insurance quote and it is only £140 a year for this car, the M-Sport is £310, can’t understand why but that’s a bonus. Will hopefully get to view today, let me know what to look for thanks.

Just look for a well looked after car.. check the tread depth on the tyres and signs of kerbing onthe wheels, at this ask expect 4 quality tyres with reasonable, life left in them.. potential bargaining points, all panel gaps line up nicely, expect stone chips on the front bumper and maybe a bit of gravel rash on the side skirts at this mileage thats not unusual, go through the service history and ask questions of when serviceable items have been replaced, mot history looks ok with just tyre and brake pad issues as a few fails in its life, check the engine bay for any signs of oil leaks, check the operation of the roof several times (with engine running) and everything electric works, lights windows etc, expect a little wear on the drivers seat bolster.. if its had a female owner the last 5 years the steering wheel may look a little more worn if they wear a few rings. It has idrive so have anosey through the service screen on when things need to be replaced. I usually take a wee torch for looking into engine bay for signs of oil, to inspect pads by eye and look into wheel arches as obviously rear springs broken are the most common fault on these cars.
It does look like the roof up/down buttons are worn away but that is fairly common but easily replaced.. another potential fault to point out and bargaining chip
You will find that interior is a fantastic place to be with all the extended leather in there though so expect a bit of shiny car syndrome but try to keep a poker face :D

To be fair with a fsh and a recent clean mot I would expect that car to be fairly solid, try to get a feel for the seller and if any bullshit is in the air and if you have any doubts just walk away

They are doing strong money at the moment, you might end up paying more than you want to but if its a nice car with the spec/colour you want and local (how often is that going to happen).

Ask if the battery and the roof relays have been changed also. It doesn't seem to have parking distance control, it has iDrive.. ask (don't assume) if it has bluetooth (BMW charge for everything).

Thanks both for your messages, all noted. When I say down the road the postcode is about an hour and 20 mins away, bloody Norfolk is a massive county. Anyways I have the day off work and this is what a day off work should be about, the patio can wait.

Can anyone tell me what is the business speaker package and is it any good? Ta

Business is the base 6 speaker stereo unfortunately and its a bit poor tbh, changing out the speakers for around 160 quid helps as does adding a wee micro amp for another 115 ..all easily done and well documented on the forum, I also added a small underseat sub.. total outlay 375 to transform the system on a budget

Ash, have you got time to ask for the VIN number before you leave? Running that through will tell you exactly what sound system, Bluetooth prep etc before you leave as you may get there, ask these questions and not get a definitive answer depending on how clued up the seller is. Not the first time I’ve asked a seller about blue tooth to get the answer, “I don’t know I never use my phone in the car”. Honest answer but not helpful to buyer

They all have Bluetooth for calls eh? a 10 quid usb/aux adapter soon sorts music.. it is worth getting the vin tho to see the full spec

My 23i couldn’t take/make calls and I had a tunsfli (or something like that) for music
