New Z4 more pics? *Updated 14.10.08* almost here :)

I like the car myself. But I have to agree with Andy. It just doesn't generate enough emotion to make me want to rush out and buy one. Anyone else?

My wallet doesn't generate enough money even if I was interested

I think it will look OK.
Not as purposeful looking as the present Coupe mind.

It looks a little too "smooth", too "jazz" unlike the present one that looks a little more "rock & roll". :P

My money would be spent on the new Nissan 370Z looking at the spy shots of both at the moment. It will probably be a lot cheaper also!

Have to wait until they hit the shows I guess.

Re the lights on the mirrors, they had the same exact mirrors for the 3 series facelift spy shots but when it arrived to the US, the lights were not on the mirrors. So hopefully its the same case here.

Sounds good to me, I was thinking last night, there is no other current BMW with the indicators on the mirrors, is there?

Looks like this must be the Off Road version...

Sorry if it's already been posted!

It hasn't got any 'wow' factor for me :( It's neither 'shocking' as the current Z4 was when we first saw it, or a modern progression like the Audi TT Mk2 was...

It has all the visual impact of the current 3 series.. Great car to drive but would pass you in the street without turning heads.

Or am I being too harsh?? Maybe it'll grow on me.

Not too wild about it at the moment, but I imagine the styling will have more impact once the camo's off. It's got a big ol' grille, so I doubt they've been holding back.

Are we sure those indicators on the mirrors are real? They look a little too orange to me.

I like the third high-level disco brake light though, nice hommage to the Z3 (inset into the top of the boot lid).

It looks something between a 6 series and a 1 series coupe. Did not like it. I always thought a proper roadster should be a rag top anyway.

not convinced- so many of the zs styling ques are gone- side z- side indicator-soft top! will hold judgement till the disguise comes off but not hopeful!

I rathter like it. Evolution rather than revolution.
It's close enough that I don't feel I have to rush out and buy a newer car and it should not alienate the existing customer like the Z3 to Z4 did where I understand very few converted.

I'll reserve final judgement until the camo is off and I've seen it in the flesh as I'm sure BMW are really good at hiding all the tiny visual clues that make the design work.
