New Z4 more pics? *Updated 14.10.08* almost here :)

I've read that the new Z4 will debut in November at (whichever) car show.


I like 6 cylinders so the new small one won't get it. Seems EVERY car grows at each iteration...look at the size of a Honda Civic versus the ones from the '80s.

-And it is true of the Z3. It will be true of the Z4 Ms for sure - the last great driver's car BMW is likely to build due to techology chasing and governmental regulations that effect design.

looks a lot closer in style to the current Z4 (especially the coupe) than the Z4 was to the Z3. Hope they do a soft top version as well, people can then choose as with the current MX5.

Picky but don't like indicators on the mirrors! :thumbsdown:
 
I really like the latest shots. But if the roof is going in the trunk I worry a little about cargo space. Where will I put the empty's.
 
Clear on the facelift model probably ...

Wonder if the first batch of cars will have orange indicators again.
 
You know, I was thinking that when I posted earlier, the fronts are definitely clear though, so I don't know why they'd keep the mirrors orange :idunno:

Maybe they're so orange because of the camouflage?
 
I don't think they're indicators on the mirrors, just a part of the disguise. I should think the real ones are in a similar place to the current car, probably in some form of vent/grill near the shut line going between the wheel arch and the A pillar.

Anyone else think that the interior looks similar to the 6er? Perhaps a hint that BMW wish to take the car further upmarket.
 
I hope the A pillars will match the body color and not be painted black for every body color. The GTR has black only A-pillars and it really cheapens the styling. The Sky's even worse - silver painted A-pillars only.
 
Don't know if I like it. It looks somewhere between the current roadster and coupe. It's not as beast-like as the current coupe which is probably because of the shape at the back - wouldn't be possible to have the similar shape and be able to tuck away the roof.

I like it, I don't like.... :?

+1.. not dramatic enough looks wise to be worth a swap.. which is both a good thing and a bad thing. If the new //M is significantly more fun or quicker to 60 i might look at it.. in 2yrs time..
