New Tyres Fitted-Slightly Confused

Any reason why u went with the Falkens and not the PS2's is it mainly the cost issue? What year is your car?

Two reasons I went for Falkens are the one, they are probably the most favoured tyre on this forum, and two the cost, I could have changed just the rears for runflats but that would have cost the same.

Car is a 2006 (Dec) with 20k on the clock.
 
Yeah I have seen them mentioned on the forum alot they must be a good tyre. Have you painted your calipers?
 
No calipers as standard, these are the last pics I posted of mine a few montha ago

how the hell have you managed to keep them is such a good state, mine are rusty as hell need to paint them. what product do you clean your alloys with?
 
I had the MV2 you have on my old 3 series coupe, and they are a bugger to clean and keep clean. 108's are easy as I can use a wash mit to clean all surfaces including the insides everytime I wash the car and it doesnt take very long. I just use Meg Gold class of similar shampoo and currently using PoorBoys Wheel Wax to protect
 
Yeah, the 108's are easy to clean, you can get right behind the spokes, and onto the inner wheel nicely.

If you look after them they should stay ok. Clearly many don't :(

107's on the other hand, easy to clean on the face, but I bet the insides of some of them are just solid black/brake dust!

I've not noticed any less grip with mine either. Bridgestones only lasted about 13k with me :oops: don't think they were all brand new when I bought it though. Best thing I ever did was change to Michelin :thumbsup: oh that and the change from the corroded 108's :D
