New TopGear tonight 8-30 BBC2

I haven't seen the second part yet (that's my early afternoon viewing whilst mrs monkey is out shopping) and I am very much looking forward to it!! Yes it's staged yes it a bit the same over and over! But as sk said it's better than a lot of the other stuff!! Witch is again recycled different people same jungle same dancing and so on... What's the problem if you don't like don't watch it???

I love other more factual motoring programs to. But I like TG it makes me laugh like fast n loud and that's staged but funny!!

I liked the special, no it's not a car show in the same vein as others, but it's entertaining and better than the reality drivel that is around at the moment.

I did see that the Daily Mail are trying to lynch Clarkson for making a direct jibe to the "Slopegate" scandal.

Rumour has it next years special is a road trip from Dresden to Nagasaki in a Triumph spitfire decked-out in Harris Tweed, RAF/USAF markings, a FAT MAN number plate and blaring out the the Dam Busters tune on a loud hailer. All to to 'build bridges' (hopefully without an unintentional 'incline' on the bridge of course).

Do we know that other countries aren't taking the pee out of us Brits?
If they are then who cares - not me!

well, exactly. Also, Top Gear is watched around the globe....if it was that "offensive" why would people carry on watching. Some people look for reasons to get "offended".

Wouldn't want sky!
The odd sports event maybe but the rest seems rubbish - especially when the price per month is thrown into th mix!

I've got Sky HD, but without sports or movies, but I do get Dave ..... which allows me to watch endless reruns of, err, Top Gear. :o

I used friends villa in Spain and they had the sky package. Wasn't impresssed. Might have be different if i had a young family .

I think a North Korean special would be very welcome :tumbleweed:

Now THAT would be ballsy! Maybe Jeremy could request an 'Interview' and reasonably pliced car session with big Kim, he has a sense of humour and loves technology, what could go wrong?

Maybe a retry of the reliant robin feature attempting space travel, I am sure Kim could sponsor something like this...
