Not a series but a 2 part roadtrip with V8s through South America :driving: gotta be better than the other xmas tv fodder
pt2 tomorrow

Already on it - and set to record both parts, despite being hundreds of miles away from my Sky Box. Feeling very 21st Century

No, it is the South American Special! Argentinians included at some point!
All Top Gear Specials are repeats, just in a different country

And all are Bollox :(

TG used to be interesting [of a sort] but now, the same, the same, the same, yawn

Bring back Tiff Needell

:driving:

 Couldn't agree more. Its on in the background but it is so similar to the others. A bridge always features, usually unfinished.

Always loved the Esprit although more a fan of the S3 Turbo HC styling that the S4 its still one heck of a car.. would consider this one as my next vehicle of choice ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STUNNING-LOTUS-ESPRIT-3-5-V8-TWIN-TURBO-1996-44K-MILES-FSH-IMMACULATE-/261658240757

Ah yes, the second part where the Argentinians make an ass out of themselves - again :D

Am I the only one gutted to see the cars slowly being ruined for the pursuit of "entertainment." ......

What's cool or fun about seeing a lotus destroy itself trying to come down a mountain pass. Dunno.. i prefered the olden day
top gears which used to actually do reviews.

I'm always the same, seeing the 928 get battered is a shame too. There was some chat about cars though, which is why I thought it was quite good for a change!

That lotus though ... Looked in good shape before hand. But then I guess you never know, the cars have had some work done to them for the show, especially underneath where you can see they all have metal undertrays / sump protectors etc!
