May've been asked before...got about a £500 budget and need a new laptop - it is used for occasional internet browsing, a few spreadsheets and not a lot else..seen these 3, which is the best - notwithstanding the fact they are all more than ample for my caveman requirements...

if there are any better available for about £500 then all suggestions appreciated. i know nothing about computers and am happy that way.
oh, and is the brand new MS office (8 or whatever) compatible with previous MS office - ie if where i work has old-school MS can the files be worked on at home, i'm not one for carting work laptops home, prefer to e mail files. and i'm not keen on touchscreens.
