Nearly sold my Z4..... Gulp

Ok, I know the solution:

- Buy your M now (the forever keep car)
- buy a cheap 4 seater as well

Problem sorted

Had crossed my mind, Mrs. Hutch has even suggested the old banger route last night so will look into that again only real issue is parking at home, although have a garage and two spaces because one space is in front of garage there is a lot of shifting involved, if I had the ///M this wouldnt be an issue though as it really would be my toy.

I'm going to take my time and get it right as I would so regret geting rid of the Z4 for a 'mondeo' as you put it I think after a few months.

My GF only passed her test just over a year, I made her do it in a manual just so to keep future shared car possibilities open. Though she's got an an automatic and hasn't driven a manual since.

Don't let her drive mine for a few reasons; lack of experience, putting her on the insurance would backrupt me & last but most certainly not least... When I asked her to get in and give a little gas while I tried to push the zed off the snow-laden slightly uphill driveway, she said (pointing at the accelerator) "this one's the brake, right?" :o

Now I know her car only has 2 pedals and she wanted to make sure, but GETOUT GETOUT GETTTOOUUTT!

Edit: sorry, that seems totally off topic now! Was following on from ksher's post :)

Wife was on insurance till last year although she has never driven any of my cars through fear of damaging them.

You got her well trained! Everytime my gf is about my car is nowhere to be seen - and all i have is a text saying she has taken my car

How about going for a 2x2 convetible - like a 3 series or 6 series (which seemed to have really come down in price lately) atleast it will be more special then a regular 3 series.

If you are leading a group in the summer cruise, how would anyone know which 3 series to follow :poke:

My M is not for sale by the way in case you are trying to get your hands on it :x Just caressed it again using the dusting brush to get some dust off the engine components

Had thought about E46 M3 cab but wife says they look like a skip with the roof down.

Must admit I'm not a huge fan of 4 seat cabs either.
