Nasty arsed badges

Hello, can anyone give me any pointers on removing some revolting dealer badges (Benz- Bavarian if anyone has seen them before) they are small metal ones which appear to be stuck on very well ,so i'm asking if there is any product that will dissolve the backing adhesive without wrecking the paint work behind, feels like i'm driving about with the family crest emblazoned on the wing panels. any help is most welcome.
thanks

I’ve always managed ok using dental floss to saw through the backing & removing the residue with “sticky stuff remover”

Wouldn’t mind seeing a pic of those bad boys before you take them off, just for reference of course.

Stuart, i may be crossing many public decency boundaries if i publish the pics, but just to prove how brave i am to actually drive about with them on i shall post some pre removal pics soon :D

Or fishing line will also work - whichever you have to hand :D

Heat them up with a heat gun or hairdryer and the glue will loosen up and allow the badge to come free a bit easier with dental floss.

Once badge is off ( old credit card generally prises off) then baby wipes remove the sticky residue without worry & finish area off with some wax/polish
