Evening all.
Have meant to bring this up a while ago but never had the time. After buying the car 18 months ago I had it detailed immediately. After the detail I noticed what appeared to be 1 or 2 sort of smooth burns on the paint. Hard to describe hence i've taken the pictures - but look to be some sort of marring. No physical scratch and appear to sit right on the top. I took the car back and if I recall correctly, the gent cut the paint and removed them. I then noticed three more spots 5 months on and they've been bothering me ever since.
So my question is I guess - what are they? Where do they come from? Are they from a poorly manourvered DA machine polish? What can I do to remove them myself?
Next I have what appears to be a nasty gash in the paint work which has exposed the bare metal. Is touch up paint the best option for it? I'm getting my diffuser painted so i'm sure the guy will touch up the chip on the bonnet if it's the right thing to do.
Overall condition of the paint is quite good.
