Refurb nasty discs and calipers

£7.95 for the paint and a bit of grinding and wire brushing

Sits on a dark blue body - so wanted something that blends not stands out. Painted the rim to save more rust

Went a bit OTT on the copper grease going back in, so looks like thats where the rust particles went ....

Looks like a neat job,
Did you use spray paint or a tin and brush?

High temp paint for calipers, stove paint for springs ( although does not look black in photos its a nice matt finish, just to save going rusty again - prob do wheel nuts also )

I tried the grinding wheel on the rear discs, but once the rust was cut back they were so pitted I got new. And was amazed to get OEM new parts for only ~£70 at the dealers. So easy to strip this stuff down too

Wheel refurb is next - thats gonna take a lot longer ....

Get some high temp silver on there 👍
