I am still working on getting a video clip on here, i did ask the wife last week and she told me not to be such a Geek lol

You've done a cracking job there. Taking a run of the mill Z and making it look quite special. No tacky mods, just good stuff!

Thanks, that's been completely my aim. Well my original aim was to just buy a Z4, but over the last 2 years, its turned into a 'upgrade' habit, not so much modifiying but more a upgrading project (I blaim the forum lol!). I wanted a cheap reliable alternative to my MR2 import but didn't want the high service cost of a 3.2ltr M, plus a friend had a M3 which was plaged with expensive issues. I'm not saying there unreliable but my worry was if issues do happen they will be a lot more costly than those on a more basic common engine. I did originally test drive 2.5 & 3.0ltr Z4's and thought there was more to the 2.0ltr than the 2.5 it feels loads more responsive.

I liked the 3.0ltr but they held more cost, plus slightly higher day to day running service and insurance costs for me and my wife.

Currently I can't think of any more 'upgrades' I plan to do. I've considered retrofitting Sat-Nav, but its a lot of cost and effort for something that's realistically technologically out of date. Also I've toying with the idea of carbon wrapping the Ally panels or swapping for Piano Black....

Most likely next step is to fit some sort of BlueTooth music streaming device for playing music with out plugging in my phone with out the use of the Aux lead. But ideally with out a out of place Parrot controller stuck out of place somewhere on the dash.
Any suggestions???

For a while now I have been researching all sorts off BlueTooth devices & Products for streaming music from a iPhone 5

I have a Parrot 3200 thats fitted away in the glove box and hooked up to the multi function wheel that is perfect and does the job for hands free calls, but does not stream music so until now i have been plugging in to a Aux lead thats always getting on my tits.

My first idea was to upgrade the Parrot to a newer higher spec version (£150 - £300 fitted), but i like how mine is fitted, i never need to press any buttons so its out of sight out of mind.

The i looked at various devices from DICE, Dension and Belkin........
All where very expensive and involved lots of complicated expensive fitting and or controllers being attached to the dash which i full stop didnt want :headbang:

Then on Friday lunch time i got a lift up to the pub for lunch with a 20year old lad that works in our warehouse in his battered Saxo. Turns out he had the answer plugged in to his dash, AND its £17.80 delivered from Amazon.

Its AMAZING!!
Your first thoughts will be "What about loss of Sound quality & Volume"
NONE!

Its rechargeable and 1 charge lasts over 8 hours, but its charged via a Mini USB lead, and i have a USB socket in my Cigarette lighter
I honestly think its easier, faster and Safer to navigate through playlists Artists and Songs via the phone rather than the head-unit,
my phone is normally in a window cradle which is near normal driving eye-line.
Plus it cost me less than £18 8) :driving:

I've tried 3 bluetooth music streamers in the car, and never found one that has a decent sound quality... i know its not the music as streaming through my home amp it sounds awesome.....

If its that good I'll be heading over to amazon now!

None compaired to playing the iPhone though the Aux port.
I guess a CD would sound slightly better but i never play CD's
plus taking into account the factory headunit and basic speakers, plus road and engine noise.
Its perfect for driving needs

Brilliant bit of kit! Use it every day. Bit of a lazy drivers tool but works a treat for motorway driving and going through average mph speed traps

Just had a cheeky glance through your thread! Looks a quality motor now!

How much was and where did you get that gear knob? It looks really good and chunky

Are you talking about mine or ESP's?

Mine was made by Machine Monkey, can't remember the price but the monkey will happily share that with you via PM
