My Z4's evolution (Cruise Control)

Aww man that badge apsolutely ruins it!!! big massive

Thought it was a really nice modified motor till I saw that!!!! Especially bodged to the Z4 badge like that looks very unbalanced.

Nice looking car looks realy good i completely get what you say about it being affordable to run. If i had use mine every day i might not have got a 3.0l  .
Ditch the //M Badge. It will get embracing at the lights.

Hahahahaha I know its not to everyones approval,
but you lot are meant to be the experts! Its a 'Z4 Msport' not trying to fool you thats its a ZM (minus the 4) lol.

It says M on the wheel's (current and original) it says M on the Steering wheel, so it now got M on the boot (but not on the wings)
its staying anyway so MOCK away lol :poke:

good man, did the same

hmmm... well
due to popular opinion the M-Badge has now been removed
but replaced with a M Number Plate surround (i hope this is more acceptable)?

I finally got around to fitting the new Halfords 90% brighter headlight bulbs which was a bit of a fiddly job but there AMAZBALLS! Almost 90% brighter than standard i would say lol
I have also tried my hand at a little Carbon Wrap on the gear shift surround,
and finally after waiting for a month for this to arrive from Germany i have just fitted my new BMW 1 Series 'illuminated' gear nob 8)

Before (nasty cheap tall plastic thing)

Nice knob ESP

Badge off - looks better IMO, but what do you think ?

Not sure I'm keen on the number plate surround either. The car isn't powered by BMW M-Power.

Your paintwork looks fabulous though. A real credit to you

My Alloys and steering wheel isn't powered BMW M-Power either
but they put that on from the factory :poke:

congrat. man very cool!
where you've bought exhaust?

me too bought m front bumper, im waiting next month to mount it.. (no have patience :D )

This is something thats been nagging me for ages and finally iv got around to it.
The standard 2.0lt Z4 brakes perform well BUT for vanity reasons i wanted to change them, especially since fitting the ZM wheel's last Summer.

I found a guy on ebay selling a pair of BMW 3.0lt front callipers with carriers and snapped them up for £70. He assured me they where ready to bolt on and had only done 40k miles, i already knew id rebuild them, but when they arrived and sound dead spiders and cobwebs in them so i guessed maybe they had only been on a car that had done 40K but they must have been on a shelf for 2 years, lol!

So i too them apart, wire brushed them down all over, removed the piston and the seals, washed them in Washing up liquid, left them to dry and then sprayed them with silver Halfords calliper paint and left them to dry over night.

Excuse the front bumper damage, some C*@t did that in a car park and drove off, thats my next job to sort.

Next up iv FINALLY gotten around to changing the side lights for LED ones, so glad i did it looks so much better!!

Just bough my new shoes :-)
Pair of 265/35/18 FALKEN ZE914 on the rears, fitted by my friends at R-tech in StAlbans (owned by former RipSpeed owners). If you near north London I highly recommend these guys, they price matched backcircles.com plus I got a Espresso and some cake "Winner"

And finally got round to polishing & waxing (half) of the car. It's very satisfying doing it by hand, but if I'm honest I'm looking to buy a electric polisher now, because life's to short to hand polish when owning a Black Roadster

Looking great, love the brake change and you must be stopping better now? i want those discs as soon as mine are spent (trying my best to wear them out!) I like the way the zed still looks good with those Bentley barges up in the air there

Ill be honest, they make no difference. The Standard 2.0lt brakes look stupidly small but are totally up to the job.
If anything iv noticed better braking now since my tires are new. Tires makes loads more difference

Looks sweet!

 :poke: LOL!
YEAH, its been in the pipe line for AGES tho
Cant wait to get the Quad fitted now!!
Looks STUPID with the double exhaust, and i hate the size of my existing tail pipes, these need to be stepped up too
:driving:

How long had you been sitting on the //M rear bumper? Mine had been in the conservatory driving the woman crazy since January!
I wasn't going to fit it until the day of the exhaust but I got too excited and put it on. Woman is happier now, win win!

Hopefully I get a //M before I do the front bumper... then go rear with quads...
