My Z4 Coupe a year on from purchase. Picture heavy!!

thanks for the comments guys. Glad im changing peoples opinions

no problems richarddaviesgb! just take your time with the refurb & you should be ok, i ran with no fog lights for about 3 months while I sorted them out, it was worth it in the end :D

cheers imp75!

Gave the car a proper clean & full wax with dodo juice purple haze, couldn't resist taking a photo. Just need to headlight inners painting and ill be happy with the car

well the next task for the car is the headlights so thought i best crack on! got the cut & split today

what a mess it makes cutting away at the plastic! Its nice and easy once you get the hang of it

just painting the inners & tinting the hockey sticks at the moment.

May put some halos in later in time, but im sick of having silver headlights when the rest of the car is blue & black

Why not put in the angel eyes now? Not sure if these are good ones, but someone will correct me if they aren't:

I only just decided that I wanted to mess around with halos once id opened the headlights up.

Had a look online last night, but I couldnt find any uk sellers that could get the rings to me in a few days

So for now ill just be painting the inserts then open them up some other time for the halos

Angel eyes plus diffusers is the way to go....

markeg they do look awesome! wish id bought some halos before I split them now, but its something I can do later down the line :D

Well i got both the cut areas on the clear front & housing cleaned up today

then split the rest ready for painting tomorrow

Dont think i have ever seen black facelift lights which xenons (so halo) before!

I wish i had the balls to cut mine and fit LED halo's!

aquazi I only just had the balls to cut mine!! i got everything ready in the garage to cut them open then ran back inside to read a bit of the angel eye thread posted many moons ago just to make sure. I was VERY nervous on the first cut

Id say have a go yourself as its not that hard, it just takes time and patience :D its also a reason im trying to take a load of photos, so it helps other people out as i couldnt find many phtots about what people had done step by step

got the inners painted this morning, will get a picture up tomorrow once they are dried & I start putting everything back together again.

whilst the paint was drying i started with the tinting of the indicators, heres the tint film ill be using, the same stuff I have on my rear lights

and heres how they look once complete

May give it a go one day!

The tinted indicators look great... you may aswell tint the indicator bulb like CJ had done to get rid of that orange.
