My requirement is economical (diesel) and be able to fit my dogs in the back.

Bit stupid having a 2 door and then a 3-door for "practicality" - replacement likely to be an E91 330d.

If you want petrol - what about an Audi S4 B8 avant?
Replaced by a 335d... to take said dogs, but also now a child.

Here’s a little update on my 200... she’s away for the winter now, but it’s not stopped me getting newly refurbed wheels on, and giving it a slightly more unusual look! My fave mod so far though, has to be the Blaupunkt Bremen, complete with DAB and Bluetooth 🤟

That entire centre console picture is 80’s tastic ! 8) :D Amazingly cool

Got a new daily after a couple years with a very efficient but utterly dull German SUV.

It's like a sofa on wheels with a nice growl from the supercharged V8.

Just got back from a great weekend in the Brecon Beacons in mind.

But that isn't what most people would describe as a car!

I know, but it's just had its first proper trip out after its respray.
You know how nice it is glancing back at your car as you walk away? Well for the first time I got a slightly similar feeling waking back to this. Not quite the same obviously. After a five hour walk, our 7 year old having conquered his first 'mountain' at Carn Pica we could see the blue van shining at us from half way back down. Plus it's more fun to post the above than a photo of my wife's Mazda 3!

Let me add a couple of ours - the smallest and biggest!

Nice caterham Harry. I also have a caterham, its a crossflow sprint. What engine is yours?
Baz.

Yep S3 sprint live axle - last of the Kent crossflows before they went Rover K series. Took ages to find one - I had intended putting the lotus engine and transmission I saved from my MK2 Lotus Cortina into it but I can't bring myself to do it now it's bags of fun as it is because you never lift for a corner :driving:

My daily is the ‘Uber’ favourite… it’s a white 69 plate Prius.

Ordered pre COVID, when my job meant big miles …and fuel economy and company car tax were important :headbang:

It’s only on 21k miles now, most of which were done before the world changed.

Measured as a tool, it’s fantastic… Spacious, reliable, ridiculously economical and a 10 year old could drive it it’s that easy.

As a driving experience, it’s completely devoid of any kind of character whatsoever…. I’d never buy one with my own money

Sold my F-Type AWD R convertible last month and replaced it with this a few weeks back. We also have a new Peugeot 208 GTline which the mrs mainly uses. I've had a Z4MC in 2019 and miss it a lot, so much so I've just paid for another which is due to arrive next week :D

That's a great choice - the more I see them the more I like them.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to know how your MC, F-Type adn G29 Coupe compare (even if it is badged as a Supra)!

I'm planning on doing a walkaround video when my MC arrives highlighting whats wrong and some more vids as I do stuff to it. I'm also wanting to do some Supra vids as well comparing them and giving thoughts, I'll be sure to share what I do :)
