his is my second car, 1976 BMW 2002. It's as near concours as they come.
That, Sir, is frapping lovely. Always loved the 'original' 3 series. A 2002tii was a dream car for me as a kid.

A guy I know raced a 2002 turbo. Said it was the most annoying car he had ever run due to the ridiculously long turbo lag - he had to floor it going into a corner in order for it to start accelerating by the end of the corner. Nonethelss, those cars are rare and desirable. And now very pricy!

Thank you I love it dearly.
I noticed from your signature you also have a Suzuki "kettle". If you ever want to donate either (or both) I would give them a good home.

Wasn't that the point of early turbo cars, though? Nowadays turbos are unnoticeable. Apparently a 1979 Saab 99 turbo's lag was measured in weeks. I loved my 1985 Escort Turbo; you could feel the turbo kick in which made it an event.
I now have three cars with four turbos between them; only noticed by the badges on the back.

Would you px that kettle for my 5 bed house; cash your way obviously?

The bike is for sale
Seriously?

It's only down the road from me too. £15k is strong money, but for a good example I can see it. If only I didn't have another house in the offing; I would be seriously interested.

Yes it’s a lot of money but I think it is probably one of the best in the country. Better condition than new. Any modern classic bike or car are fetching ridiculous money at the moment.

Did I miss this topic before?

My daily is a Z4 and my second car is a Z4 ...

The coupe is the daily, the roadster is the garage queen:

My other car hasn’t been built yet…ordered a VW Tiguan R Line hybrid in October (2021!) and I’m still waiting….

Apologies if we have posted here before… don’t think so tho… the other drive is currently a rather splendid Beetle 2 with 1200cc turbo power and a black pack. There was also a ‘03 RAV4 but a spectacular MoT fail (the perils from years of Scottish road salt) killed it off (apparently it was off to Africa according to the buyer) which was terrific at puppy carrying. Next year may see a rethink of our ‘not the Zed’ car.
