My Number Plate has been cloned

Can I come and watch? Will it be in Lewes or will it be in Maidstone - so we can drop down at Bing first :)

Sorry, I can't be associating with criminals :D
If you're talking about Steve & PVR, surely that's one crim and one economic migrant :P

I would describe myself as a missionary actually, to bring culture and civilisation to the UK

Yes, the Dutch have a world-wide reputation for their cultural acumen...

Well I have gone about as high as I can, that and a double pronged attack with the Help of Number5 as resulted in this from Highways England who are overall responsible for Dart Charge)

Really can wait to receive another one now

I could do that but would have to lose it. If I put on retention then it won't help and could make matters worse.

It's all good fun at present and until I get another one I wont know if they have fixed the issue of my Romanian friend has either not come back or has upgraded his van.

As your Romanian cousin was not paying for any fines and obviously committing offenses all over the place, I am sure he will be involved in illegitimate activities. Perhaps he needs a bigger van now to smuggle more refugees across ...

You can only hope.

I was slightly worried when trying to leave France that my plate may come up with unpaid tolls but luckily not an issue.

In France, tolls are collected upon exit so you don't have this weird situation like with the Dart crossing where you can drive over it without either a tag or cash. Bad design and open to abuse by anyone with a false plate, no registration or all foreign cars.

Would you want to cross a bridge in France where you could not pay but would have to find some way of an internet connection within 24 hours to pay for it using a card that they probably would not recognise ?

Some parking company who Roadchef use. I've emailed an appeal and asked them to put a marker on my plate advising I will either ignore or charge £25 admin fee for any future charges.

Cant you just send it back with a copy of your local MP's letter ? - and no stamp either !

Perhaps we should all set up a rolling Z4 road block in the middle of the crossing, so they can tell the difference between a box van and a Z4 everytime they see one !!

Forgot about the letter. One offs are a bit of a pain, but it's the repeats that get me.

This charges was only 11 days ago so it does look as if the dart charge might have got their act together at last. Until now I had no idea if the van was still in the country or not. I do now :(
