Think that says it all.

Repeat above, except this time they have sent me a PCN for my car for the 3rd May for the crossings I did pay for.

Had a rant at customer services just to make myself feel better :D

One useful thing she did tell me, the only useful thing is that I can complain online, which in itself I wasn't expecting much from, but looking into it if they don't sort it out I now have the address for the Chief Executive of Highways England, and that is where I will be complaining to.

Also she confirmed that if I ignore these the costs go up. I said "and if I ignore those", to which she replied "we take you to court", to which I replied "good".

She just kept saying you need to provide representation. I said I've done it once explaining about this vehicle and I'm not doing it again, each time it costs me time and money.

Will see what Number5 can do for me also.

Absolute joke! Maybe the DVLA and the local traffic officers for the area need to possibly investigate just how long this van has been in the country and if it's over the amount of time allowed then they should sort it out.

Not only are they failing to pay these crossings but I highly doubt they have any insurance and god knows what state the van is in with regards to road 'worthiness'

Maybe it's worth just planting that seed with the DVLA?

Been there, done that. DVLA aren't interested, Van isn't that old. I'm sure it keeps going over the channel so probably doesn't contravene any rules.

When you SORN the car this November that's when their little party should come to a end .
So many traffic cars now have the ANPR system they should get a tug

Nightmare.

Oh well I suppose just let them take you to court. I'm sure the judge won't be impressed by their lack of intelligence in all this.

No checks on the way out of the country then for outstanding fines? Thought that would be rather easy.
Even Bing and I got stopped in Switzerland whilst they checked for any outstanding offences ...

Won't show up will they, they have fined me. My Romanian friends owe them nothing.

Still shows as outstanding though?

Ive just trawled through my email history and found that I have had previous conversations directly with the Dartford ANPR Manager and the CCTV Manager, back in Sept 2013.

I'll pick up with them on Monday (if they havent changed), as Im off work tomorrow.

Appreciated

This is my last attempt, after this they can take me to court.

I think I'd be tempted to do this anyway, just for the humiliation.

Youve got all the paperwork, the photos and receipts, plus plenty of documented attempts to contact them and discuss it. There is no way you would lose and it will really make them look at their systems if they get dragged over the coals and have to pay your expenses, not to mention compensation for your time and hassle.

I think I'd quite enjoy it in a smug sort of way ! :

I would agree with you Number5, but in the case with any motoring offense it is almost a case of you are guilty until proven innocent.

They could even turn it so that their case is that the real crossings that were made with the Z4 were not paid as the payment was allocated to a previous crossing (different car - but they will ignore that).

Steve has the receipt for the one 'proper' crossing on 3/5/15. I think he paid and they've allocated it to teh white van instead.

However, what more can he do ? he's tried to contact them, he's resolved previous issues and they just keep sending them. The photos all show the white van, so i would be inclined to take it to court and see how much it costs them.

I think he's done everything right. Tried to contact them, kept a log, and has all documents.
I'll try my contacts on Monday and if that doesn't work, then he'll just have to wait for the court date and a chance to make a few quid.

Sounds like a good day in court then, wouldn't mind sitting in on that one, just to see them squirm when all the evidence is put to the judge. We could have a forum outing

Guilty till proved innocent. Happy with that. The evidence is pretty black and white

As number5 has said I have all the documentation including written evidence from them stating that all images will go through image review, which they are not. They were also aware of my crossing. I made the crossing only one day after receiving my first PCN which is the only reason I didn't set up a direct debit. Thank god I didn't. They know to remove the van and to allocate my receipt to my crossings.

I'd quite happily go to court on this one.

Select a new plate, like SRH 1 and get them to pay for it :)

Well a new plate could form some soft of compensation if they can't get their act together.

C12 SRH will do, and the car that's attached to it.
