My bespoke seats

There you go Jonny, I was going to take my own pics and upload after they were fitted to my car but it just seems to have happened this way.

I wanted the quilted look ( diamonds ) to the central sections of the sport seats, the central sections of the door cards, U shape cowel around the handbrake and the two kidney shaped panels either side of the central tunnel in quality Nappa leather.

Locally I was quoted £2,500 by a bespoke vehicle upgrading service and the rest were over £1300. I also sent an enquiry to Paul in Colchester and he quoted me £1000. I spoke to him on the phone and said I would have to travel from the North and that I wanted to haggle. Agreed on £800 and that I was dropping the seats etc off to him that night which I did and 4 working days later the seats etc. were ready to collect.
I had the quilted look and that involves a lot more work and needs padding out with quality foam so maybe if you go for plain look in standard leather it will be cheaper.
Obviously I have had the work done to my taste in regard to specification-sizing of the diamonds, thickness of padding, single stitching as opposed to double etc.

Paul can do whatever you like within reason. Take a look and let me know what you think and you can ring him and work a deal out with him he's young and dynamic .

Let me know what you think, the seats have now been cleaned up and have settled so the leather looks a lot tauter now.

Thank you for the positive comments guys

Wow stunning!

You weren't tempted to go with alcantar though?

A valid observation it being an ///M. Alcantara would be more befitting the creed of the car but it was not something I considered as I have already gone against that by buying the piano black trim set. We spend a lot of time in our cars and I feel the interior tends to be neglected when it comes to mods. Thanks again

The top shoulder wing of the drivers side seat looks a bit baggy. Was it like that before?

It's settled back down now, the pics were taken immediately after the work was completed by the guy who did the work and I asked him about that. Because the leather has never been taken off it takes time to settle down but it has now.

Ah perfect mate. They look great by the way.

some people are just so skillful , looks similar to a rare special order on my mates 55amg. a definate improvement imo as the standard seats are a bit plain and a touch baggy in that area. stellar work from a master craftsman

Agreed! Well worth the money imo

Superb - great idea and not bad money. Love the door card inserts too. :)
